Lil Scrappy proposes to Erica to save his image? Erica and Lil Scrappy aren’t on the best of terms as of now, and since it’s been confirmed that Erica has called off the engagement, it’s not looking like the on and off again couple will ever walk down the aisle. It also doesn’t help that Momma Dee is working overtime to keep a wedding from ever happening, and she’s already made it clear that she thinks the best woman for the rapper is Shay Johnson. Shay doesn’t see Erica and Scrappy working out either and reportedly revealed recently at a club event that she’s still sleeping with him as well. And when it comes to regrets, although Lil Scrappy claims he now regrets proposing to Erica and getting her on the show, Erica seems to think the proposal was nothing more than a publicity stunt he pulled to save his own image and please his disappointed fans after a first season that made him look as if he was running away from responsibilities. She tells Mouth to Ears:
“We’re co-parenting. I definitely called off the engagement. Clearly Scrappy wasn’t ready. I feel like the whole proposal at the end of the day was to save his image. It was all about how he looked to the people. So that’s why I believe he proposed at the end at the reunion because he was getting so much hate from fans and I think it was just too much for him to deal with.
“I feel like as time progressed, the truth came out about what his true iterations really were.”
Erica also spoke on that infamous dinner scene in which she finally snapped on Momma Dee. According to Erica, the cause of her snap was actually edited out and Momma Dee called her a b*tch right before the blowup:
“The reason for my snap…what they did cut out was the fact that she called me a b*tch again and that’s what made me snap. Like blatantly in my face and they cut it out.”
Really Erica? I don’t think Scrappy has ever been image conscience because if he was, he wouldn’t have been cool with Momma Dee getting on TV. She makes him look pretty terrible. LOL.
Doubt it Erica. Yes, Lil Scrappy sucks but I think he was wanting to make the family thing work. It’s sad how people become so vicious to each other just because the relationship doesn’t work out. Sad for the kids as well.
Agreed. I like Erica but she just sounds angry and hurt here.

Lil Scrappy doesn’t seem like on to be too concerned about an image. But ok. LOL.
If it was a publicity stunt or to help his image Erica, you had to be in on it. Kinda blowing the lid off of Mona’s puppet show.
Oh Lawd…I’m sick of these two.
No engagement is not going to help lil scrappy’s image.
Scrappy and Erica need to have a seat and Momma Dee needs her own man and take Francine with her.
ERICA needs to learn how love herself and be a better example for her daughter rather then allowing scrappy tp continue humiliating her on tv with yet another women smh
I honestly think he was trying. He didn’t have to tell Ericka in the first place that Shay stopped by the studio.
He spoke with Shay and Momma Dee told them both that he was in love with Ericka and that’s who he wanted to be with.
As far as a image, I don;t think none of us would have heard of Ericka Dixon if she haven’t been connected to Lil Scrappy.
I mean where does her story line go if she isn’t connected to Scrappy…

I believe it. Most men in entertainment do not want to be seen as a dead beat father. The child support issue rubbed people the wrong way. She is better off without him. He has family issues, especially ejem it comes to women. He needs a therapist before getting involved with anyone else. Momma des needs to go with him.
