Can things get any worse for Porsha Stewart? Not only did her appearance on season five of Real Housewives of Atlanta subject her marriage to Kordell to intense criticism, but many also believe it led to her now estranged hubby’s recent move to file for divorce. Although Kordell has made it clear that he now wants to work on their marriage, it appears that Porsha has decided to move forward with the dissolving of their marriage. Interestingly enough, she’s confirmed that she’s leaned on the shoulders of two of the other housewives, NeNe Leakes and Phaedra Parks, during the split. She tells Hollywood Life:
“Well NeNe and Phaedra have just been amazing to me. You know, after they heard about the situation (the divorce), everybody reached out. So I was thankful for that. That was nice to see everybody come together for the sisterhood in support of me. So that was nice. But those two ladies are ladies that I talk to.”
So imagine how terrible it probably felt to hear that NeNe actually wanted Porsha to get the boot from the show when she hinted at replacing one of the housewives on the reunion. NeNe told Andy Cohen on the upcoming episode of Watch What Happens Live she was taking about Porsha because she felt her marriage to Kordell wasn’t “real enough”:
“I did feel like at that time that Porsha needed to leave the show because I felt like…I’m a good judge of character, I’ve been blessed child. I’ve been given a gift and I kept feeling like Porsha and Kordell were not being real enough.”
While it won’t be clear until the full episode of Watch What Happens Live airs on Sunday whether or not NeNe’s mind has been changed regarding kicking Porsha off the show, it appears Porsha is hurt by NeNe’s comments. She subtly tweeted about the situation on her Twitter account and although she wasn’t clear, it appears she may feel NeNe’s public comments feel a lot like backstabbing to her during her divorce. She tweets:
Porsha could be talking about anybody, but the timing of this tweet has many thinking she was referring to NeNe.
Porsha has every right to feel the way she does about NeNe. That heffa was walking around calling her “a little sister” and wanted her fired the whole time! That’s some shady sh-t! I’m done with NeNe.
Well her sisters tried to tell everyone she was trifling didn’t they!
Agreed. She was out here fronting hard too like she liked her. Man, she’s cold.
Hold up… I’m not a NeNe groupie… but she definitely seems like she is about business, and she has always used this show to be about business. You hear all the ladies say things like “When I come to work” in regards to the show… soooo I never really felt like any of them felt like they were real friends, as much as they are like co-workers.
The only person NeNe ever said she was a “real” friend to was Kim, and Kim is faker than those cheap wigs she pays so much money for.
It seems like NeNe is the one introducing and firing the ladies, and there are two key words in her sentence to Andy “at the time”. And to be honest, I felt the same. Porsha wasn’t interesting until Kordell wanted a divorce.
That moose has always been a backstabber. Call the old housewives and they’ll tell anyone how dirty she is…
NeNe just can’t be trusted. And the fact that she said it’s because they weren’t real enough but she’s all up in Kenya’s a-s is baffling. Chile…
Hold your head up Porsha. It may not even be worth coming back to the show at this point. It helped ruin your marriage, and the ladies on there have no class and loyalty. Oh well.
I just want to know why Andy Cohen made NeNe the queen of the show…very bad move.
You reap what you sow. I fully expect NeNe to get a dose of her own medicine one day.
I’ve washed my hands of NeNe at this point. She’s just gotten too dirty and full of herself for me.
Not suprising NeNe only cares about herself always has always will.
Honestly, they need to get rid of NeNe. She’s boring and too full of herself. She should have been gone a long time ago. It’s time for fresh faces anyway. Get rid of Cynthia, NeNe, Phaedra, Kandi, and Kenya. Keep Porsha so we can see the divorce effects, and bring in new ladies to fill the other spots.
In life, you’re not supposed to ever trust women like NeNe. She’s selfish, conniving, and pretty evil. She used to be great for TV, but now she seems to think she’s better than everyone else. I say she needs to go. I liked her but this situation here has turned me off completely.
It takes so much to do these reality shows. It’s just too much drama for those average checks they get from these networks. Porsha should just walk away and get her life together. It’s just too much at this point.
Well this is why you can’t be friends with NeNe. Now Porsha knows. Had NeNe had any class and decency, she would have decided against going on TV and saying what she did RIGHT NOW. That girl is going through a divorce. Have some respect.
I know it had to really hurt because she was just talking about the sisterhood she has with NeNe. NeNe sucks.
NeNe your time is coming girl! You’re going to reap all you have sown for the last several years! Be ready!
I thought Porsha was boring but it is messed up how NeNe did her. That’s even lower than I thought she was capable of.
I still like NeNe so I’m hoping she says that she’s changed her mind and no longer wants Porsha to go. I can hope, right? I like them both the best.
