Is Cynthia Bailey pregnant? “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Cynthia Bailey may not have as much drama going on in her life since the end of last season as her fellow housewives Porsha Stewart, Kenya Moore and NeNe Leakes, however she has still found herself a victim of the gossip blogs. The other day, numerous reports popped up on the web suggesting the model and business woman is expecting her first child with her husband Peter Thomas. Apparently Cynthia has been showing up to events with what looks like a baby bump. Many sites took the small bump to be confirmation of the reality star’s pregnancy. However, Cynthia took to her Twitter account earlier today to shut down the reports. She tweets:

Thanks for all the congrats! However, I am not pregnant. I am dealing with a medical condition that makes me look pregnant. Stay Tuned…..

Cynthia never revealed what “medical condition” she is suffering from, but we did hear from a little birdie that this condition will get some camera time next season. Apparently the condition will be revealed and “explored into” thoroughly on the next season of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” so she’s trying to keep everything under wraps for contractual reasons. But for all we know, it could just be Cynthia’s way of throwing people off until she’s ready to make some kind of formal announcement herself. She wouldn’t be the first, Tamar Braxton did the same thing with her pregnancy.

Sounds like Cynthia’s new story line will be pretty interesting. We sure hope the illness isn’t too serious if she’s being honest about having a medical condition.

Meanwhile, Cynthia’s “illness” isn’t keeping her modeling agency from expanding, not only did we hear she moved to a bigger building because business has really taken off, but she’s also planning some major business moves this year with her agency.

      1. Could be a tumor? I also know some medicines make you retain water so your body looks bloated, especially in the stomach area.
