While many would love to write Draya of “Basketball Wives LA” off as a bad mother, the reality television star obviously doesn’t see things that way. However, that doesn’t matter when most of Twitter is dragging you about it and claiming you’re a neglectful mother to your son. After BET thought it would be a great idea to start a #AskDraya hashtag topic on Twitter to promote her Thursday appearance on 106 & Park, most of black Twitter went in on Draya’s skills as a mother. Although Draya clapped back at her critics via her own Twitter account, she did address the drama during her appearance on 106 & Park. She says:

“The first thing is, I don’t expect people to understand my life because it’s my life. I’m not a bad parent in any way and then I’m lucky enough to have fans that actually followed me on the show, on ‘Basketball Wives,’ and they know the path I’m trying to choose and set for my family. They followed me since day one. So they know exactly where I’m taking my family and the direction that we’re trying to go.”

“Mind ya (sic) business.”

Draya also had a few words for all of her “haters”:

“I got so many, so I’m starting to think they don’t really hate me. I think they’re confused. They’re admirers. That’s what somebody told me. Your haters are confused admirers and they really just love me so to answer your question, I don’t deal with them. Just let them hate on their own.

“I just feel like if you’re thinking about me, negative or positive, you’re still thinking about me. I am on your brain.

“Draya’s on your mind all the time.”

    1. That’s what I was waiting on too. Did it happen or not? The fact that she keeps dodging that question makes her look guilty.

  1. So she’s just going to ignore the fact there’s a copy of that police report online? Okay Draya. LOL.

  2. This is all Kim Kardashian’s fault. Now every tramp on reality TV thinks they are legitimate celebrities.

  3. Sigh…Draya, what talent do you have? You shouldn’t have any haters. You’re a pretty woman with a nice body but you don’t even have a skill to make you rich. Keep selling those t-shirts though.

  4. She danced right around the question. Why didn’t someone specifically ask her if she was arrested for child endangerment or not? Now that would have been a real interview.

    1. He really is. Maybe he was nervous or something but his hosting skills leave much to be desired. Maybe he’ll grow into it.

  5. Counting down the day until reality tv people are no longer relevant. I’m tired of people with absolutely no talent being famous.

  6. I’l say it again, I don’t think it’s cool for people to hop on Twitter and get all big and bad and tweet things they wouldn’t say to someone’s face. People have to much Internet courage..

  7. I gotta admit……I kinda like her…She hustles hard. Giving her child to her mom was probably the best thing for everyone concerned.

  8. I have liked Draya ever since I saw her on Basketball Wives L. A., She was my favorite and some of the girls on their tried to gang up on her, but she was the breakout star. I like that Draya kept it classy when answering that question about her son on 106 and Park yesterday. On BasketBall Wives when they tried to confront her about what they had heard about her neglecting her son she addressed it. I don’t know if what is being said is 100% true or 100% false, but her mom is the one who is physically taking care of her child now and Draya provides financially. From what I see she is trying to make a better life for herself and her child and family and I can’t hate on that. Draya is beautiful and because of her beauty and her determination she is working as a model, working on a clothing line, a bikini line, and she has her own lipstick and she is a spokesmodel for several brands. She also gets paid to host parties. In my opinion she took her time on BBW and turned it into bigger and better oppurtunities and you can’t hate on that. Even if the allegations are true she made a mistake and is now trying to do what she feels best for her child. We all make mistakes and I am glad that despite that she is using her oppurtunities wisely. This happened about two years ago, so people need to give her the benefit of the doubt and move on. You haven’t heard anything like this happening again so let her live.
