The Jada Pinkett Smith gossip will probably never end. While celebrities enjoy the perks of making millions to do the things they’re most passionate about, there is a nasty side to fame most wish they could avoid at all costs. Unfortunately, it’s pretty hard for celebrities to not become a target to gossip and the vicious tabloids. And if anyone knows that best, it would have to be Jada Pinkett Smith. Jada has had a high-profile marriage to actor Will Smith for over 15 years, and every week the couple’s marriage is dissected and even their parenting skills have come into question. But Jada declares her bond to Will can pretty much overcome anything, and her dedication to self-love makes it easier for her to survive the tabloids. In a recent interview with Redbook Magazine, when the subject of tabloids comes up, she says:

“I have been affected by gossip and I know people who have been too. I’ve seen marriages destroyed by gossip. It is cruel. At the end of the day, all that matters is: Do you love what you see when you look in the mirror? That is it, baby.”

Jada also talked a little about the upcoming talk show (premieres in September on CBS )she’s executively producing with host Queen Latifah:

“It will be a cross between Oprah and Ellen — not serious but heartfelt…to help execute this idea for such an amazing artist is really pleasing. I’m able to be creative on a whole different level.”

  1. I like Jada and all but sometimes I wonder if she does all this Facebook ranting and talking because she’s at home bored to death. Time for her to make some more movies.
