Sneak Peek: Nicki Minaj Debuts New Clothing Line at Kmart

Nicki Minaj’s new clothing line at Kmart is one of the latest business ventures that the rapper is taking on. Nicki’s resume continues to grow as the Young Money rapper has proven that she is looking to do more with her career than just make music. After all the drama that went down, her time as an “American Idol” judge has officially come to an end. Nicki doesn’t seem to be losing too much sleep over it though as she is moving forward with the new clothing line that she has coming out.  In a “Shop Your Way” video clip, Nicki talks about the look she was going for with her new line and says that she wants women of all sizes to feel comfortable and confident when they wear her clothes:

“There are some dresses that I am obsessing over already, just the shapes of them. They tuck you in in the right places and they enhance the right places…We’re definitely working on the leggings I love for my body so that women, no matter if they’re slim or thick or whatever, feel comfortable. Comfortable equals confident. That’s what I would say.”

And though Nicki Minaj has been criticized in the past for her interesting fashion choices, she says that she didn’t want people to think that her new line was going to be full of outrageous clothing:

“I definitely didn’t want people to think ‘She’s only going to have crazy stuff on her line.’ That would push them away. I want them to know ‘No, no, no, no.’ I’m doing this for women in general to feel beautiful and sexy. Any woman can wear it and feel confident.”
