Ciara low album sales leads singer to put her album on Groupon to boost sales? Ciara was very excited about her fifth solo album dropping. And with the buzz “Body Party” created for the singer and all the promoting she was doing prior to the album’s official release, the C Squad was sure their fave was on the verge of a comeback. However, “Ciara” only managed to sell over 50,000 copies in the album’s first week but did land in the number two spot on the Billboard 200 chart. Although Ciara’s latest album has performed extremely well in comparison to her last album “Basic Instinct,” it has slipped on the charts. Ciara said before she wasn’t worried about her album flopping but the singer is looking to do something about the low sales as she has linked up with Groupon to offer a 2-CD bundle deal to her fans in order to boost “Ciara” album sales, according to a report from Singersroom:
In an effort to boost sales, the Grammy winner has teamed with discount outlet Groupon to offer a 2-CD bundle package, which includes the ‘Ciara’ album and ‘The Very Best of Ciara’ playlist. ‘Ciara’ features collaborations with Nicki Minaj and Future and is lead by the singles “Body Party” and “I’m Out” while ‘The Very Best of Ciara’ includes 14 of Ciara’s hits (“Goodies,” “Promise,” “Like a Boy,” and more).

Honestly, I don’t even know if they deserve all the blame. All Ciara seems to care about these days is her relationship with Future. And the crazy thing is he’s straight! His career is going places. He’s popping! She’s barely hanging on and doesn’t seem to care.
I really be trying to pull for Ciara I bought the album. She needs to focus less on Future and more about music. I’m convinced whoever ruined Ashanti singing career is ruining Ciara career.
How’d you like the album? (Promise I’m not being funny, I just haven’t really heard anything about it)
It was a solid album in my opinion.To me you can hear Future’s sound throughout the album. My favorite song is DUI.

This is terrible album marketing. How did the people who came up with this idea even get their jobs? Jay Z hooks up with Samsung and gets a platinum album out the box and this is the what they perceive as a great deal? Really? How?!
Wow. I really feel bad for her. She has some great talent and can perform so well but the music she makes lacks that it factor.
R&B is a dying breed…you have to go pop or be okay with not selling a lot of copies. The choice is Ciara’s at this point.
