Dwyane Wade ex wife lawsuit dropped? The drama between Dwyane Wade and his ex-wife Siohvaughn Wade looked to be settling down for a moment as Siohvaughn got to spend some quality time with their two boys on Mother’s Day. But with the recent news about Siohvaughn suing the Miami Heat star for nearly $1 million, it became clear their legal battles haven’t come to an end. As we previously reported, Siohvaughn Wade filed a lawsuit against Dwyane Wade for $1 million in endorsement deals as Siohvaughn claims she has been struggling financially. And she says it’s due to the fact that she hasn’t been able to work and pursue her law degree at the same time. Although D-Wade and Siohvaughn officially split nearly a year ago, their divorce settlement has yet to be finalized when it comes to the money aspect. As Dwyane has been preparing himself for the battle with his ex-wife, it is now being reported that Siohvaughn dropped the million lawsuit she filed on Tuesday against her ex-husband, The Chicago Tribune reports:
According to court papers, Siohvaughn Wade filed a voluntary dismissal order today at the Circuit Court of Cook County Law Division.
The previous suit was dismissed without prejudice, according to court papers.
Earlier, Siohvaughn Wade claimed that the basketball star was engaged in a conspiracy to deprive her of money she was owed. In the previous complaint, she named Dwyane Wade, his attorney, his financial adviser and companies that he had endorsement deals for allegedly refusing to uphold an agreement that required money to be placed in a joint bank account.
There is no word yet on why exactly Siohvaughn Wade decided to drop the lawsuit.

She only did this because she was mad he called Gabby his black queen during the BET Awards. You know she was watching. LOL.
She really shouldn’t be jealous. He’s a dog, and Gabby’s dog for now. Let her have him is what I say. LOL.

Did he give her the money? Honestly, I don’t even like D Wade but his ex wife is really making herself look vindictive. I say get the money you’re owed and move on with your life boo. The best form of revenge is not taking your ex to court every month, it’s happiness!

She needs to move on after she gets that money from the settlement. She acts like she’s still bitter about everything.

I wish this crazy woman would move on already. Get a lawyer so you can get the best divorce settlement possible and just stop this malicious behavior.
God can get revenge better than we ever could…I hope D Wade’s ex wife can finally make peace with the situation at some point in her life.

i’m not saying Sio is innocent, but until you walk in her shoes, I don’t think it’s cool to make fun of her situation. Don’t forget she was with Wade when he wasn’t some NBA player. Her family took him in when he had nowhere to go and his mom was on drugs. No matter how things ended, it’s not easy to see someone you supported become successful and then treat you badly.

Because their divorce isn’t final from a financial perspective it’s not in her best interest to sue at this time. Her request was granted without prejudice (meaning she can refile at a later time if she wants to). This is probably going to come up again. It’s more than likely going to come up in the financial discussion of their divorce.
