Is Chrissy and Mr. Jones cancelled? Chrissy Lampkin and Jim Jones saw much success from their stint together on “Love & Hip Hop.” And because of that, many people expected Chrissy and Jim to return for the third season of the show. Things didn’t turn out that way though as Chrissy and Jim decided to walk away from the show over Chrissy’s displeasure with how she was portrayed. Although they didn’t make a return to LHHNY, Chrissy and Jim didn’t completely remove themselves from the world of reality TV as they landed their own spinoff show with VH1 “Chrissy & Mr. Jones,” which was centered on Chrissy and Jim working out the issues in their relationship and preparing themselves for marriage. While Chrissy and Jim Jones were a big part of why “Love & Hip Hop” became popular, viewers didn’t find the two to be nearly as entertaining on their own spinoff as many of those who caught a few episodes of the show took to their social media accounts to say how boring and unreal they found the show to be.
Chrissy and Jim weren’t the only ones who decided they were done with the “Love & Hip Hop” series as Emily B. didn’t return for the third season of the show either. And during her time on the show, Emily B. opened up about her relationship with Rapper Fabolous and it caused her to face a lot of criticism from viewers as many were skeptical about what Em and Fab truly had going on with each other as Fabolous acted as though things weren’t too serious between him and the mother of his son.
Emily B. had people thinking she was on her way to getting a spinoff of her own after she tweeted about being in the process of filming. Emily cleared things up and says she won’t be getting her own show but does confirm that “Chrissy & Mr. Jones” will be returning to VH1 for another season:
