The Kevin Hart dark skinned women jokes have made him a target of criticism. Kevin Hart may have lots of success considering he is one of the biggest comedians on the scene right now and he’s taking advantage of his increasing popularity by booking numerous movie roles and being one of the brains behind his hit show on BET entitled “Real Husbands of Hollywood.” But with lots of success comes lots of public scrutiny. And Kevin is learning that pretty quickly considering he recently got accused of cheating on his ex-wife Torrei Hart with his current girlfriend on his Instagram account after he decided to post photos from their recent four-year anniversary getaway.
Then of course there are those jokes he cracked about dark-skinned women that many felt were disrespectful. Kevin refused to apologize because he said it was just a joke, but some of his critics don’t seem to think so and they have accused the comedian of being color struck and preferring to date light-skinned women.
Well Kevin clapped back at his critics, and tells Bossip he does have love for dark-skinned women considering his mom is dark-skinned and so is his ex-wife. When asked what the craziest rumor he’s heard about himself, he answers:
“That I don’t like darskinned women (laughs). My daughter’s dark-skinned, my ex-wife is dark-skinned….but I get ONE new girlfriend and it’s “HE HATES SISTAS!!” I wish y’all could see how many times a day I do this (makes crazy face). That’s my face for unwarranted attacks.”
He then slams all the women who criticize his current relationship:
“Here’s the reality. You wanna know the sad reality that I say to angry women? If it wasn’t her it [still] wouldn’t be you! That’s the sad part of the reality. So, these people that get angry about another man’s happiness, ask yourself, ‘If he wasn’t with her, would he be with you?’ The answer still is NO! So either way, you’re putting time and energy into somebody else’s happiness.”

From what I gather from this, he cares a lot about what other people think about him.
Exactly.
Why does he keep talking about this? A lot of this he said in his movie. Time to move on.
Eh, it is what it is. He can address this over and over again and people will still say what they want. That’s what comes with the territory of being famous.
Little man complex has him trippin’.

He sounds real arrogant. Dark skinned women had a right to be offended. I have yet to hear him crack the same insensitive jokes about light skinned women. Why? Because he prefers them. He was with his “dark skinned” wife when he was broke and trying to get on. Once his career took off, he switched her out for the current chick. It is what it is. Don’t do your dirt and then get offended when people call you out for it.
Oh Kevin whatever. He sounds like the racist white men who always pull that card, “But I have black friends!”
I need Kevin to just stick to comedy because when he opens up his mouth and tries to be serious, I get annoyed.

This whole interview was a turn off and I used to be a fan. You can see the success has given him a big head.

The only reason you’re popping now is because Katt Williams got on crack and Dave Chappelle got tired of being Comedy Central’s b-tch. Be thankful and humble yourself before a real comedian takes the little shine you got.
Wow, Kevin sounds like he is very arrogant now! There is nothing wrong with being happy as long as your happiness is not built by hurting others.
