The Game tattoos Trayvon Martin on his body? When it comes to the not guilty verdict George Zimmerman received from an all female jury for the murder of unarmed black teenager Trayvon Martin, the country is full of mixed reactions. However, in the African-American community, most of us feel as if the system failed and many of us are still working to get justice and at least force lawmakers to reconsider the controversial Stand Your Ground law. Some celebrities have even joined the Boycott Florida movement, and so far artists Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Mary MaryRon Isley and Talib Kweli have decided they will not perform in Florida again until the Stand Your Ground law is changed. There’s also numerous rallies taking place in Trayvon’s memory all across the country, and entertainers are also attending those rallies to join in on the fight for justice.

We can only assume rapper Game has decided to honor Trayvon in a very different way because the rapper and now reality star took to his Twitter and Instagram accounts to let his fans know about the new Travyon Martin tattoo he got the other day. Of course his new tattoo was met with mixed reactions, and some people straight up slammed him for the new tattoo and claimed he was just using it to get attention. Game got fed up with the nasty responses and told a follower he had every right to get the tattoo and people should just respect his choice:

@minglima man people get tattoos of Mickey Mouse n Betty boop on their f*ckin body… N they never met em… Just respect other people’s sh*t n keep ur negative comment off my page. U obviously follow me, maybe u should just unfollow n u won’t have to see my sh*t. Easy right ?

This isn’t the first controversial tattoo Game takes pride in. He also got a tattoo of President Obama on his chest in March. Check out the tattoo below:

  1. It’s his body, but I don’t think he should have done this. It just seems like he and many others are treating the issue like a piece of fashion…hell some even act like they care for “likes”on Facebook and Instagram. Sad.

  2. He’s a grown man and he can do what he wants to his body BUT actions like these cheapen the seriousness of what happened to Trayvon.

  3. The problem with this is I think Game is one of those people that gets tattoos just because. If he is so passionate about what happened to Trayvon, why not do something more productive like most people?

  4. I commend you Game for honoring Trayvon in this manner and I am sure that Trayvon and his parents are happy that someone loved and cared enough to create a permanent platform to commemorate their deceased son in this manner. Tattoo’s are forever and I am one who appreciates someone who not only protested and disagreed with the death and verdict of and for Trayvon but is showing his life long commitment to the Martins. What is everyone complaining about it is a shame that he is being belittled for this …smh

  5. The Game is a lame who thrives off of attention…he still hasn’t married ol girl so he can have one more year in reality tv GTFOH

    1. What do that have to do with Trayvon and the tattoo????? Why would anyone get married if they are not ready to commit themselves 100 percent? Apparently they are not ready to be married and when the time comes they will, but first they need to figure out their problems before taking the step of til death do us part. There are many people who have rushed to get married before dealing with whatever issues that they have and as a result of that marriages last about fifteen minutes in this day and time. If the Game and his Lady cannot get along now then they should wait to get married so that they won’t ruin each others lives.
