Dwayne Wade and his ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches-Wade have been divorced for three years now, but the former couple has shown no signs of learning how to get along and peacefully co-parent their two sons. Instead, both parents have been fighting plenty in court, and in the end D Wade was granted full custody of the kids. Siohvaughn has been vocal with her frustration with the situation and she has even been telling the media that the NBA star has been using his celebrity status to gain an upper-hand in court. In fact, Siohvaughn took to the streets of Chicago recently to air out her frustrations with Dwyane Wade on video, and she claimed that the basketball player takes to court to punish her every time she speaks out about their drama. She’s also made claims that she isn’t being paid spousal support although it was court ordered; an accusation D Wade denies.
Despite all the drama, it was reported that both Dwyane Wade and Siohvaughn had reached an agreement over a $5 million divorce settlement, but Siohvaughn was required to stop talking to the media via a gag order. Siohvaughn made it clear she was not happy with the terms of the settlement, and she felt being forced to be silent was a dirty move by D Wade and she vowed to fight against being made to be quiet. It appears Siohvaughn has already began taking stops to get the gag order lifted, as TMZ just confirmed she has filed paperwork to the court to claiming she never agreed to the terms of the settlement which requires her silence, and she wants the judge to nullify the agreement. If the judge does nullify the agreement, it will make room for more bargaining.
Siohvaughn also stated in court documents that since Dwyane Wade was free to bash her in his book, she should have every right to do some bashing herself.
Gag order? Lawd…
These two are a hot mess. What will bashing each other really do? Shut the hell up and be parents.
Why won’t they both just stop talking? I don’t understand why they feel the need to get back at one another over a marriage that has been over for three years. And isn’t D Wade in a relationship? Why is he so pressed to get back at his ex? Must be some feelings there because he shouldn’t care anymore.
Damn homie tried to throw a gag order at her. They are crazy.
They are both sounding more and more immature to me.
I can understand why D Wade put a gag order on her. He has endorsements and I’m sure it’s because he has a clean image. She needs to STFU because if she says too much there goes her spousal support. It’s not like she has a job. These women are stupid. Shut up and collect the money you didn’t even earn in the first place. He’s moved on. Damn.
This is what happens when people get divorced and refuse to move on. Time for both of them to be quiet.
I’m so tired of these two. I don’t understand why adults just can’t get divorced and be grown about it. No, they have to fight and make the kids suffer. Smh.
I do feel Dwyane Wade did some dirty stuff, but Sio really needs to move on. Who cares if you can’t talk about him to the media anymore? What will that do anyway? Get your life and find some happiness. Life’s too short to waste it doing this petty mess.
The gag order is a bit much. She has a right to talk, she looks crazy as hell, but it’s her right. D Wade comes off controlling.
