Damon Dash son Boogie arrested for assaulting his girlfriend? Dame Dash has been reportedly having issues with his finances as the former Roc-A-Fella Records producer was hit with a tax lien not too long ago. However, his son Damon “Boogie” Dash Jr. is dealing with some serious problems of his own as the 22-year-old was arrested last Tuesday for allegedly choking his girlfriend in Chelsea according to authorities. As a result of the supposed incident, Damon Jr. faces a misdemeanor charge for assault and strangulation as he allegedly squeezed his girlfriend’s neck during an argument they were having at his West 16th Street apartment. A law enforcement source tells the New York Post that the dispute Damon Jr. and his girlfriend had was over s*x and things supposedly turned violent between the couple in the midst of their argument:
“She was visiting him at his apartment, he got violent with her, starts to punch her, slap her and shove her onto the bed, got on top of her, he grabs her by the throat and chokes her.”
The source also claims Damon Jr. and his girlfriend stopped fighting for a brief period of time but started up again which led to the alleged victim calling the cops on Damon. According to the misdemeanor complaint against him, Damon Jr. “placed both of [his] hands around [her] neck and squeezed tightly” supposedly causing the victim to have trouble breathing. The complaint also alleges that Damon Jr.’s girlfriend was left with red marks on her neck from where he allegedly strangled her.
At Damon Jr.’s Wednesday arraignment, he signed an order of protection requiring him to avoid any form of contact with the alleged victim. The law enforcement source also claims Damon Jr. left his girlfriend with numerous bruises and injuries including a black eye and a cut on her lip. Damon Jr. was released without bail.
Damon Dash Jr. has been arrested once prior to this incident but no details have been revealed surrounding the previous arrest.

If a person feels like they need to put their hands on their significant other, they need therapy ASAP. No healthy relationship includes beating on someone.
So someone clearly needs help here…get your son some help Dame.
