“Basketball Wives LA” star Draya Michele knows first hand that reality television fame isn’t always what it’s cracked up to be. However, she’s admitted that she’s in a much happier place these days. Although Draya has come under fire quite a few times for her parenting skills, the reality star did confirm recently that her son is living with her again in California. But that hasn’t managed to put an end to the nasty criticism she gets as a parent, and people still take to social media to make some of the most hurtful comments about her child. Draya has opened up about her feelings regarding the criticism she gets for her child and she says that she feels people’s obsession with her son is scary. So we can only imagine why she may have snapped the other day on Twitter when people begin dragging her in her mentions about her son, once again.

As we reported recently, Draya has been in a serious relationship with Dallas Cowboys player Orlando Scandrick for the last few months and even though she says this is the happiest she’s ever been in her life, it seems it’s just very hard for Draya to escape the negativity on social media. The Dallas Cowboys had close game against the Kansas City Chiefs, and the reality star took to Twitter to playfully brag that she’s the reason her boyfriend’s team was victorious (they shortly lost to the Chiefs by one point after that tweet). Things didn’t end well and she became a target once again on Twitter not too long after the playful tweet. Draya got fed up after she was hit with one too many tweets about her son and she eventually went off and slammed “poor people” in the process (read the tweets from top to bottom):

  1. People need to get a life. They are so jealous of this woman it’s scary. They only bring up her son because that’s the only negative thing they can think of. Keep em pressed Draya.

      1. Not really. Those people in her mentions every day are the sad case. She’s living her life and that’s all they can look forward to is dragging her on Twitter.

  2. I think she just snapped and she’s getting tired of the jokes about her son. However, it’s not ok to joke about poor people. The real poor people aren’t tweeting.

  3. So what is she going to do when the relationship ends (which it will)? Or when Basketball Wives gets cancelled? She needs to humble herself and stop replying to people on Twitter.

  4. Give these reality chicks a little change and they start talking like their bank account is identical to Beyonce’s. Hilarious.

  5. She opened the door for this slander I don’t feel sorry for her this is what happens when you live your life on social media. Here she go slamming so called poor people like she worth so much but not long ago she was in the hood stripping for dollar bills girl bye.

  6. So now she’s making fun of poor people because she got roasted on Twitter…last time it was teachers. Draya, this is why people keep coming for you. Learn how to ignore your mentions and get money. It’s not hard to do. Hit block, it helps.

  7. She was in such a hurry to brag on her baller boo that she didn’t even watch the game long enough to see they actually lost…

  8. I don’t even blame her for going off. People need to STFU with these lame jokes about her son. Half of them don’t even take care of their kids either.

  9. I just want Draya to stop letting people on Twitter push her to this kind of behavior. She needs to be better than this. I think they do this because they know they will get a reaction out of her.

  10. It’s funny how some of these so called bad chicks *cough Draya & Rihanna cough* always have to clap back. Hmm interesting because when you are comfortable in your skin and who you are it’s no need to clap back & lash out. Just food for thought class dismissed lol!

  11. I’m sure it gets annoying, but it’s time for Draya to be an adult and learn how to ignore insults. It comes with the territory. If these are poor ugly people then why let them get to you so much? It’s not that deep.
