Jay Z & Beyonce Top Highest Paid Celebrity Couple List, Again

Jay Z and Beyonce are both so successful in their own right that it’s no question why they are easily one of the most celebrated power couples. Jay Z has gone from just a rapper to a savvy business man, and it only took a few months for his latest venture Roc Nation Sports to rack up an impressive roster of professional athletes, and his new company has already managed to make agents who have been in the industry longer extremely nervous. Jay recently spoke out on some of the friction he received for his latest business venture, and made it clear that the criticism only makes him work harder to thrive in business. And if that wasn’t enough, Jigga was able to ink a multimillion dollar deal with Samsung to release his album on Android devices free to fans, and the deal led to his current album “Magna Carta Holy Grail” going double platinum.

Beyonce is without a doubt one of today’s most successful music artists, but she proved she too was business savvy when she made the bold decision to sever business ties with her father Mathew Knowles and opted to start managing herself. So far, she’s done great on her own as she inked a new deal with Pepsi for approximately $50 million, a lucrative endorsement with H&M, a very successful documentary for HBO and a Super Bowl halftime show that landed her an Emmy award.

So when one considers the top power couple, people probably aren’t surprised Jay Z and Beyonce topped Forbes’ 2013 World’s Highest Paid Celebrity Couples List.

According to Forbes, Jay and Bey brought in about $95 million in the last year, and their success also led to them topping the same list in 2012. With the ambition still going strong between both, it’s clear this may not be the last time they receive the honor.
