Former “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta” star K. Michelle has proven that she can have major success outside of reality television considering her music career is taking off as first week sales for her new album “Rebellious Soul” were strong, and the album continues to do well on the charts since its release. The singer has also grabbed the Best New Artist Award nomination for the Soul Train Awards, and she recently confirmed she will be going on tour soon and releasing another version of the album near Christmas. With her own reality show on the way and her plans to do even more in music, it’s clear K. Michelle is definitely in a very happy place in her life. But in addition to her career doing well and her own hometown of Memphis honoring a few weeks ago, she’s also having lots of luck in the love department as of late.
As we recently reported, K. Michelle has been dating Indiana Pacers player Lance Stephenson for a few months, and the reality star is completely smitten by the NBA player. Considering her last romance with NBA player J.R. Smith crashed and burned horribly, many expected her relationship with Lance to fizzle out soon too. But the couple is still going strong despite a little baby mama drama a while back, and K. Michelle took to her Twitter account recently to reveal that she and Lance hit a milestone in their relationship. She tweets:
In related news, K. Michelle has also hit another milestone in her music career. The singer took to her Instagram account to confirm that her single “V.S.O.P.” is officially a top ten record. She posted the following photo and writes in the caption:
Today I got my first top ten Record and its still moving. It might not mean nothing to you, but understand nothing was done for me. I’ve had to fight to live my dreams. I am truly the underdog in this game. No politics in my story, just REAL people all over the world rocking with me. I can’t say thank you guys enough for supporting my music and accepting my flaws. This is just the FIRST SINGLE! Three more to go! We just getting started. Hate if you want, but I am the People’s Champ! I’m humbled by all of this. Love yall
In more music news, R&B singer Ciara is also celebrating some great news considering her single “Body Party” has officially went gold. Congrats to Ciara and K. Michelle on their most recent accomplishments in music.
I’m happy for K. She seems to be really happy and she deserves it.
Well hopefully he won’t mess up like most athletes do.
They are going strong because she accepts his cheating and he tells her when he messes with other women. :-/
