Reality star Kim Kardashian has managed to create a multimillion dollar empire by staying in the press for her controversial love life and now that she’s dating rapper Kanye West, it’s clear she isn’t fading away into obscurity anytime soon, despite the wishes of her critics. Not only did Kim and Kanye make headlines last year after they went public with their romance, but the couple also captured the nation’s attention with the birth of their daughter, North West. With Kim’s younger sister Khloe Kardashian stealing the spotlight thanks to her troubled marriage with NBA Free Agent Lamar Odom (the athlete is reportedly struggling with substance abuse), Kim is now back to her regular appearances and she’s been stepping out back into the spotlight with her rapper beau. However, Kim’s managed to become the target of backlash yet again considering she left her three-month old baby North West at home to attend Paris Fashion Week with Kanye.
According to Kim’s critics, they feel the reality star should not leave North so soon to head to Paris for Fashion Week. However, Kim’s camp has issued several statements and they are defending Kim’s actions by stating it’s the first time she’s left the baby since the child’s birth and North is under her grandmother Kris Jenner’s care. A Karadashian insider tells US Weekly:
“Kim was sad to say goodbye. This is the first time she’s been away from the baby.”
Another source tells Life & Style Weekly that North is with Kris Jenner while the couple is away in Paris:
“Kim was very sad to leave the baby, but is excited to go to Paris and spend some time with her man. his is the first time Kim has been away from Nori for this long. She’s staying in LA with grandma Kris [Jenner].”
