R&B singer Tamar Braxton has been making headlines quite a bit for her ongoing beef with fellow singer K. Michelle. The “Love & War” artist hasn’t been a fan of K. Michelle’s ever since she accused her friend Toya Wright’s husband Memphitz of abusing her while they dated. As you all probably know, K. Michelle’s accusations surrounding her past relationship with Memphitz was a huge storyline on season one of “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta,” and Memphitz ended up suing VH1, K. Michelle and Mona Scott Young for airing the accusations to millions. While some sites reported Memphitz withdrew the lawsuit, we found out through the courts that he actually just refiled it to the federal courts.

Although K. Michelle seems to have moved on from the whole Memphitz situation and she’s currently dating NBA player Lance Stephenson, her beef with Tamar continues to linger. Despite K. Michelle trying to make peace and buying a copy of “Love & War,” Tamar made it clear that she wasn’t impressed by the nice gesture. She then threw her first week album sales in K. Michelle’s face and that of course led to K. Michelle slamming her on Twitter yet again.

Despite all the drama with K. Michelle, Tamar has plenty to celebrate considering the first week projections for her “Love & War” album were on point and Billboard has confirmed that she sold 114,000 copies and landed at number two on the Billboard 200 chart. Ariana Grande came in at the number one spot and sold 138,000 copies.

Tamar of course is elated by her first week figures and she’s topped K. Michelle’s recent Billboard accomplishment as she now has the largest sales week for a female R&B/Hip Hop album since last November. Congrats to Tamar.

      1. It’s the truth. And it’s not new, they do it to Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, etc. They even by Twitter followers and Facebook likes. Smokes and mirrors baby.

  1. Off topic, it’s sad selling 100,000 copies is considered good these days. That used to be considered a flop and artists used to sell millions in the first week. Sheesh.

  2. She’s 37 and arguing with a 25 year old K. Michelle over album sales. Why isn’t she bragging about her other albums? Probably because no-one has ever heard of her other albums

  3. I actually love the album but Tamar I cannot stand her attitude, it’s so extra for her to be where she’s at in her career. I paid for the album but as far as a concert, club appearance etc she can forget it, she needs a big slice of humble pie and she’s too old to be so catty. #IJS

  4. I personally don’t like the whole album, just a few songs, but congrats. I do wish she would change her attitude for the better and humble herself. Success can be taken away in the blink of an eye.

  5. I actually like the album as well. For me it’s literally about the music. I don’t have to like Tamar to buy her album. I honestly don’t care for K.Michelle either, but I bought her album and thought it was good too. I’m paying for the music, not the person.
