Jim Jones Gets Arrested for DUI

Rapper and reality star Jim Jones isn’t in the spotlight much these days since he and his fiancée Chrissy Lampkin decided to walk away from “Love and Hip Hop New York,” and they decided to sever ties with Mona Scott Young in exchange for their own reality show on VH1, “Chrissy and Mr. Jones.” Since walking away from the show, Jim’s whole outlook on reality television has changed dramatically and he even said not too long ago in an interview that he feels like most reality stars are selling their souls for checks and high ratings. He feels his show with Chrissy is a lot more honest than their time on “Love and Hip Hop.”

The couple may not have as much drama as they did while they were on LHH, but it appears Jim may have just gotten himself caught up in some new legal problems. According to TMZ, Jim was arrested this morning because officers claim he was driving under the influence. When he was pulled over for speeding, cops claim he behaved as if he was high and possibly on drugs.

Officers tell the website Jim was pulled over for speeding on the highway in the Bronx around 2 am this morning, and when they approached him, his eyes were allegedly bloodshot red and he appeared as if he was out of it.

It’s also being reported that he failed multiple sobriety tests, and Jim reportedly refused to take a breathalyzer back at the police station. He was booked for driving under the influence of drugs and it’s believed he may have been high off weed.
