K. Michelle and Tamar Braxton’s ongoing beef has kept both of them in the headlines more than their actual music as of late, but when it comes to who is having the better music career right now, some would say K. Michelle’s career seems to be taking off while Tamar’s is starting to somewhat struggle as of recently. The Braxton sister just released a music video for her track “Hot Sugar,” and it was met with mostly negative reactions from her own fans via social media. Tamar herself eventually admitted she wasn’t happy with the video either, however, she placed the blame on Rihanna’s photographers because she claims they left her high and dry before finishing the project to travel with Rihanna. She decided to slam them on Instagram for it too but if that wasn’t enough, she also recently took to her Twitter account to confirm that she is having vocal issues. She tweeted:

I waited my WHOLE life 4this moment….& I have NEVER had this many voice issues. Its embarrassing &hurtful but ive come 2 far 2 give up now

say whatever u like. Talk about how bad u think things r & How I should change this or that. But, im no where near where I was a year ago

I dont have time 2 talk u into liking me or understanding me. Cause no matter what u will always find fault when u r not perfect yourselves

& honestly the ones talking the most wouldn’t last 1 min in my shoes! Thanks 2 the REAL #tamartianfriends 4 understanding me when I didn’t.

K. Michelle has been pretty mum on Tamar’s hard times, but she did cryptically tweet about karma and letting God handle her battles which made some think she may have been referencing Tamar. She tweets:

When people wrong you, sometimes the best thing to do is sit back and let God fight that battle. No one is above Karma. Be humble.

But it’s not all bad for Tamar. She was just nominated for a People’s Choice Award for Favorite R&B Artist.

  1. Both of them need to have a seat. Neither one of them will ever be on Beyonce or Rihanna’s level. And Tamar was stupid to think she’s better or more important than K. Michelle. They are on the same level. Period.

    1. I don’t think they want to cross over though like Bey and Rih have. They are both good singers ( T and K) but they are just so unprofessional and ratchet at times that they hinder their own growth.

  2. LOL I think it’s karma too. But I think she needs to reference this tweet the next she thinks about going off on someone on Twitter and IG. In other words, she needs to take her own advice.

  3. Tamar is still talking about that janky music video she made on twitter. She must be really feeling some type way about it.

  4. Tamar just needs to get her stuff together. She let those first week sales get to her head. First week sales are a small part of it, and she probably realizes all that now.

  5. I honestly think K. Michelle might end up having the better career when it’s all said and done. She can write music, she’s a better performer, and her music seems to strike a chord in more people than Tamar. Just my opinion.

  6. Of course its karma but it’s not just karma from the situation with K michelle. Tamar is talented but she is not a nice person she is arrogant, rude, selfish, vindictive .You have to watch how you treat people she tries to look down on people a lot. Look how she did Claudia Jordan. What K michelle said was right but she shouldn’t have said it. Tamar is being humbled because of how he she acts as a person.

    1. You’re right. She does look down on people a lot and that’s what turns me off about her. She has a great voice but her attitude is so stank that I refuse to support her.

    2. Yeah the thing with Claudia was so unnecessary! Claudia most have made Tamar insecure or something because she was so catty towards her!

  7. Nah. When K.Michelle shades Tamar, you KNOW she’s talking about Tamar. I think she’s speaking in general.
