Tamar Braxton and K. Michelle’s beef has been a reoccurring topic on the urban blogs, and we’re sure you’re fully aware that both of the R&B singers have had numerous Twitter beefs. The drama stems from the fact that K. Michelle accused Toya Wright’s husband Memphitz of abusing her while they dated, accusations he denies still to this day. Tamar is good friends with Toya, and she reportedly threw some shade in the beginning days of “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta,” and it’s been on ever since, despite K. Michelle’s most recent attempt to make peace with the Braxton sister.

The other day Tamar made an appearance on “The Arsenio Hall Show,” and she decided to shade K. Michelle when Arsenio Hall asked her about the beef. Tamar decided to act like she had never heard of K. and said:

Kmart? Where they sell Nicki’s clothes at? That’s the only ‘K’ I know.

K. Michelle didn’t appreciate the shade and it didn’t take too long for her to clap back on her own Twitter account. However, Tamar is telling her fans via her Twitter account that the shade was necessary because she refuses to speak on K. Michelle any longer. Apparently Tamar was attempting to go without shading people for as long as possible, but she says her slip up over K. Michelle was appropriate. She tweets:

In related news, Tamar just dropped a new music video for her new single “Hot Sugar.” In the video, the new mother of one shows off her post baby body. Check it out below:

  1. Like I said, she does this for attention. Tamar could easily tell her publicist that she doesn’t want to be asked any questions about K. Michelle and most interviewers would honor that. But she didn’t because she knows she needs the press. She’s so fake.

  2. No it wasn’t necessary. She could have actually been classy like she claims to be and just said no comment or I wish her the best.

  3. Both of them need to let it go. When people ask about it in interviews, just say you’ve moved on and leave it at that. Eventually people will stop asking if you stop talking. It’s really not that hard to do. They both do this for the attention it gets in my opinion.

  4. Well the only hit Tamar has was Love & War and that came out a long time ago, so she is hoping this beef will keep people talking about her. It’s so obvious because she could easily just say she’s not talking about K. Michelle anymore.

      1. Girl please, they are both flops. No one outside of those who watch their terrible reality shows even know who they are.

    1. Do me a favor and recount Tamar’s singles she definitely has 4 and a Christmas album on top of that!! K is still stuck in V.S.O.P

  5. That video is a hot a-s mess. It looks cheap and lame. Get it together Tamar. Stop worrying about shading K. Michelle and step your music video game up. Please.

  6. What kind of video was THAT? No wonder she hates K so much, K makes her nervous. I definitely think K is more ratchet, but her music and her videos have been pretty good so far. Tamar is kind of riding off her hubby’s name because the only decent songs she has were the first two singles.

  7. I don’t like the video or the song. But it wasn’t necessary for her to shade K. Michelle. The more they drag this out the more childish the both of them look.

  8. Oh whatever Tamar. She is such a drama queen. She’s too old (K. Michelle too) to be beefing. Chicks got kids at home and in their 30s/40s Twitter beefing. The hell?

  9. Tamar needs to worry about her music. That album is overrated and this video symbolizes how I feel about it…TRASH.

  10. I don’t like the video. And I’m sure a big part of the reason for that is because I don’t like her. She’s about to find herself in the same category as Rihanna. Idk when people started feeling like shading others is “necessary,” but when done in excess it sure does make them out to look bitter and like a bully. All that being said, I’m glad I didn’t buy the album and I’m glad I’ve been too busy to watch their show (assuming it’s still coming on). Although I agree K also needs to move on, the thing that makes me tolerate her is that she hasn’t been the one to go looking for trouble. Sure, she responds to it and probably shouldn’t at times, but all-in-all she’s making progress and that’s all that matters. Tamar is digressing by talking about someone she’s supposedly “better than.” Honey might also want to take lessons from Bey on how to properly whip a ponytail…. Mediocre broad.

  11. I love the song, but please do another video. This video is bad. I agree with you Tamar. It was necessary shade. Throw shade how you want to you didn’t show disrespect. You didn’t do name calling. You threw the question off that’s far from bullying.. K slavey fans will throw you under the bus no matter what. Keep doing you because you winning.

  12. At least if you are going to shade someone you better make sure you are on point with your videos and your live performances, especially on national TV. Tamar sounded horrible live on the Arsenio Hall Show. And this video is very “low budget” looking. One thing she cant shade K. Michelle about is her videos or her live performances. They have both been on point. Tamar better drop this shading of K. Michelle or she is going to really get exposed as being just a “Studio Singer”.

  13. Please Vincent d Herbert tell ur wife in this industry beefing can b bad for u Tamar get yah life 2secs towards being back up again take care if the baby now n ur copying Beyoncé the whole video
