The Usher Sesame Street appearance news has many kids very excited as they look forward to the singer stopping by the show later on this week. As a kid growing up, “Sesame Street” was (and still is) one of the most entertaining yet educational shows on television. And to make the show just a little more thrilling for children to watch, various celebrities make quest appearances on the show including athletes, actors, singers and other entertainers and notable figures. R&B singer Usher has a lot on his plate at the moment in terms of his career and personal life yet he didn’t pass up the chance to engage in a little song and dance routine with Elmo, Grover and the rest of the “Sesame Street” crew. Usher Raymond will drop by “Sesame Street” on Thursday and will be adding his own flavor to the reciting of the ABCs with a song called “ABCs Are Moving You.” And considering the fact that music is his specialty, we figured Usher would have no problem at all nailing the song.

In related news, Tia Mowry-Hardrict has headed back to her sitcom roots with her new show “Instant Mom,” which she stars in and produced. And the show already appears to be a hit among viewers. The family comedy captures Tia taking on the role of former party girl turned mother Stephanie who marries a man Charlie (Michael Boatman) with three kids of his own. Actress Sheryl Lee-Ralph plays Stephanie’s mom Maggie while Tylen Williams, Sydney Park and Damarr Calhoun star as Charlie’s three children. The family comedy debuted this past Sunday, September, 29 on Nick at Nite at 8:30pm ET/PT and pulled in big numbers in viewership. The half-hour series drew 1.3 million viewers total and also aired on NickMom the same night at 10pm becoming the block’s highest rated premiere ever among women ages 18-49.

Nice!!!! I’m soo happy for Tia!!! And this is a good look for Usher. Sometimes I forget how talented he is because of all the BS going on with him and Tameka. I hope they work it out one day and can be civil parents.

Wait Tia has a new show? Didn’t know. I’m glad it’s doing well so far. And yeah, all the drama with Tameka and Usher does overshadow his talent. But he did a great job. I can’t even be negative.
