“R&B Divas Atlanta” started off with on the premise that the TV One reality show would promote positivity and sisterhood between R&B singers, but that pledge didn’t stand a chance after the ladies began bickering back and forth with one another over touring and workout DVDs. In fact, Nicci Gilbert and Syleena Johnson’s beef made everyone else uncomfortable, and things only got worse in season two. Nicci has expressed via social media that she wasn’t happy that she came off looking like the show’s villain, but it now appears that she won’t have to worry about any of that in season three. And that’s because Nicci is not returning to the hit reality show.

TV One’s spokesperson confirms to Access Atlanta that Nicci Gilbert will not be returning for season three. And she’s not the only star to get the boot. Faith Evans will not be returning and neither will LaTocha Scott.

Keke Wyatt, Syleeena Johnson, Angie Stone and Monifah Carter will be back for season three.

While the network won’t confirm if the three divas leaving left on their own accord or got the boot, we highly speculate that all three chose to walk away. Especially Faith since she’s been pretty clear she is not happy with what direction the show has taken. Things changed pretty quickly after Faith and Nicci were pushed out of their Executive Producer roles.

It was also confirmed by the spokesperson that “R&B Divas LA” will return for a second season. No word yet on who will be returning and who won’t.

In more reality television casting news, now that Traci Steele and DJ Babey Drew are out for season three of “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta,” it appears a new cast member is already on deck.

Freddy-O snapped some photos of Erica Dixon and Karlie Redd chatting it up with LHHATL newbie Kalenna Harper at BE Magazine’s Charity Fashion Show. Check out the photo below:

Kalenna Harper is a singer and songwriter from Atlanta and she’s notoriously known for being the second female singer of Diddy’s short lived Diddy-Dirty Money. She sang beside Dawn Richard and the group disbanded sometime last year.

  1. I honestly feel like Kalenna is too talented to be on LHHATL. But I guess she sees how things worked out for K. Michelle so she figured it couldn’t hurt.

  2. The thing about reality tv is there always has to be a bad guy. Getting rid of Nicci only means there will be a new Nicci. My bet is Angie Stone will be the new villain.
