Former Ruff Ryders superstar DMX has had numerous legal troubles since his heyday in Hip Hop. As we have reported several times in the last few months, he seems to have a knack for getting arrested in the state of South Carolina. While his rep seemed to suggest that it’s because law enforcement has some kind of beef with the artist that causes them to purposely single him out each time he comes to the state, law officials claim it’s more so that he just continues to commit the same crimes.
According to TMZ, DMX was arrested yet again the other day in South Carolina, and the police are claiming he was arrested because he was allegedly driving with a suspended license again.
He was also busted for driving while uninsured and for driving an unlicensed vehicle.
DMX was pulled over at the Spartanburg, SC airport and a spokesperson for the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport claims officers noticed DMX as soon as he pulled up to the terminal because they have had so many run-ins with him for the last several weeks.
Apparently DMX’s camp doesn’t think his latest arrest is a big deal. His rep has already sent out a statement downplaying the arrest, and tells AllHipHop in a statement:
DMX was released at 9:46pm Eastern Monday night. He was arrested on minor traffic charges and spent only three hours in jail. This short arrest will not affect any of his upcoming concerts and he is planning on performing with Swizz Beatz on Wednesday’s Wendy Williams Show.
This man is a lost cause.

He needs some serious help and therapy. He needs more than an hour on Dr. Phil too!
Chile I’m done with DMX. He clearly doesn’t want to make anything out of himself anymore. Oh well. Stay away from drugs.
Very sad case man. X used to be one of the illest rappers back in the day. And I don’t doubt if he got sober and serious about music again that he could out rap a lot of these young dudes. But he’s obviously hurting about something and trying to heal himself with drugs. I hope one day he does find peace though.
I said it once I will say it again DMX will never prosper. This is what happens when you pick drugs over your children.
