Jay Z is known to speak his mind when it comes to his rap lyrics, and he didn’t miss the opportunity to speak his truth in his latest collab with Rick Ross.

Rick Ross just released “The Devil is a Lie” the other day, and Jay Z hops on the track and claps back at his critics and those that seem to think his success is indication that he’s a part of the Illuminati. He raps:

The hatin’ is flagrant, hit your free throws
The devil try to hit me with the RICO, them black people
Devil want these n*ggas, hate they own kind
Gotta be illuminati if a n*gga shine
Oh we can’t be a n*gga if a n*gga rich?
Oh we gotta be the devil that’s some n*gga sh*t

This isn’t the first time Jay Z has addressed the Illuminati accusations and we’re sure it won’t be the last. He also addressed the controversy he became a target of after Barneys was put on blast for racially profiling black shoppers:

You seen what I did to the stop and frisk
Brooklyn on the Barney’s like we own the b*tch
Give the money to the hood, now we all win
Got that Barney’s floor lookin like a VIM

  1. The beat is ridiculous, the song is hot and Jay Z sounded like he had something to prove. Overall solid song.

  2. I don’t even know why he bothers to say anything about the Illuminati. No matter what he says those nuts will still think he’s in it…a black rapper who only owned not even 1% of the Nets. lol

  3. I can’t take these Illuminati and “Perfect Christians” seriously. They are more hateful than real devil worshipers. Some of the comments I see them wrote on the blogs and make on YouTube videos is evil in itself. Smh.

  4. Love it! Jay said nothing but the truth! I swear black people hate each other more than the racists hate us sometimes. The way these people tear down Bey, Blue Ivy and Jay is sickening and evil. Then they have the nerve to call THEM dvil worshipers. Oh the irony.

  5. I never give the illuminati talk any attention. Anytime your source is YouTube I know you have nothing to talk to me about.

  6. If Jay wasn’t as successful as he is, they wouldn’t say the things they say about him. People just hate his success. Oh well. We’re not put here to be loved by everyone.

  7. There’s a lot of misinformed people when it comes to the Illuminati thing. While these dumb a-sses are always looking for signs and symbols to spot evil from people who have no power, those that are really in power continue to keep us oppressed. People are so stupid.
