Teyana Taylor dropped by Adidas? Last week, many of Teyana’s fans took to Twitter in droves to vent their frustration with Adidas for not releasing her Harlem GLC: “Dark Knight” sneaker, and it didn’t take long for people to start assuming that Taylor had been dropped by Adidas for her notorious Twitter beef with Rihanna.
As we reported recently, Teyana angered many when she poked fun at Rihanna’s battered face and even posted the photo as her background picture on her Twitter profile suggesting that she planned to cause the pop star more injuries than her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown did.
Rihanna’s fans clapped back and put together an online petition demanding for Adidas to drop Teyana’s endorsement for “mocking” domestic violence. The petition garnered thousands of signatures, so it makes sense that many speculated that the non-release of Teyana’s shoe (the sneaker was supposed to drop on November 29) was an indicator that the deal had been terminated.
Teyana even fueled the rumors more since she tweeted about “one door closing” and another opening.
However, Teyana’s camp says she was not dropped. Her rep tells Necole B*tchie:
Teyana has not been dropped, the sneaker is on hold, no other comments or statement is ready to be issued at this time.
Adidas has not released an official statement as of yet.
Welp, looks like the Navy didn’t win this time after all.
It doesn’t even matter because she will never blow up like Rihanna has. I can guarantee that.

Well why hasn’t Adidas said anything? That’s strange.
LOL! So they just decided to not release her shoe? That’s just as bad as getting dropped. Either way Teyana loses and will continue to lose. She got the most attention she’s ever got her whole life for beefing on Twitter with Rihanna and didn’t even capitalize off it. She didn’t drop a song, video…NOTHING. She’s not very smart.
Teyana should pay Rihanna commission for getting her on the blogs the few times she’s been on here.
LOL behave. Either way, I’m not buying this at all. Sorry Teyana, I think you were dropped sis. But it’s ok. Learn from it and keep doing you. There will be more opportunities.
IDK I find it pretty telling that they didn’t even release her shoe. And they did just sign a deal with Kanye, so they don’t really need Teyana anymore away. So it’s most likely that they didn’t drop her so to speak, but they probably didn’t renew the contract they already had with her and delayed the last shoe’s release.
She needs more people!

Teyana doesn’t have a real publicist. It’s one of her homeboys who occasionally sends things to the blogs…she got dropped. I think they are just trying to protect her image, but I don’t see why because she’s not even famous. The shoe didn’t come out and never will. Rihanna wins yet again.
