If you caught last night’s episode of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” then you saw all the chaos go down at what was supposed to be a fun and innocent lingerie party and “pillow talk” put together by NeNe Leakes.

Kenya arrived to the shindig late instantly getting on NeNe’s bad side, but things went left pretty quickly after Kenya once again got into it with Christopher Williams and his wife Natalie.

Kenya got up to confront Natalie and that’s when Chris stepped in to prevent her from getting in his wife’s face. Kenya’s friend and assistant Brandon got involved and a shoving match started between both men. When Apollo Nida tried to break it up, he and Brandon then began to fight causing nothing but drama at the party.

But Kenya says she’s not to blame and the only reason NeNe is blaming her for the drama is because she’s actually jealous of her.

Kenya tweets (read top to bottom):

NeNe wasted no time in clapping back via her Twitter account:

NeNe also expressed her feelings on what happened at the party in her recent blog and she says that Kenya actually started the big fight because she charged at Chris’ wife, but that scene was cut out by Bravo producers to keep Kenya from looking bad:

Chris wife Natalie started saying “don’t back paddle now” Kenya got up & charged out of her seat towards Natalie (but you couldn’t see that part) (I wonder why?) Chris stepped in to stop her but not in an aggressive way. Kenya then got all extra saying take your hands off on me! Her girlfriend in the red pajamas jumped up in Chris face and that’s when the explosion started. I don’t condone violence! I can’t control adults and it’s not my fault if adults decide to fight on their own! In my opinion Kenya was the spark that lite the fire.whenever she’s around, we have the worst times! I’ve been on this show from the very beginning and we have NEVER had a physical altercation on this show!

…Here’s a few questions I would like to ask you: why do you think they let Kenya narrate the whole fight scene? Why do you think they took the part out when Kenya was charging across the room?

  1. I’ve been waiting for a RHOA post so I could vent. Last night was crazy and hilarious at the same time. I really feel like NeNe knew the party would be messy, but Kenya took things too far by trying to run up on Natalie. For her to claim she is sooooo classy, she’s always the first one to jump in someone else’s face. And she was being extra about Chris grabbing her arm. That’s what he was supposed to do! I agree with NeNe. Kenya came on this show and things have really gone downhill. It’s entertaining though.

  2. Kenya reminds me of all those pretty women who won’t have female friends because they think everyone is jealous of them.

  3. Girl u r so disillusionial…..Had u stayed ur bad skin a-s seated….the fight would have never started…U bash people about their appearance all the time….U r all BARK … NO BITE….NENE shuts ur a-s DOWN…JEALOUS OF WHAT? THEY ALL GOT MEN!!!!

    1. I disagree, now I am no Kenya fan in the least but Nene started the drama last night. She didn’t need to bring up the Natalie/Chris situation because it wasn’t her place. She has nothing to do with it and I feel that she was just stirring the pot which she is known to do. The only person who should have any input should’ve been Natalie and her husband. Nene is and have always been super messy and I guess since New Normal was cancelled she’s not above being messy smh but I was thoroughly entertained though.

      1. I agree you with you. I too do not usually agree with Kenya on anything she does, but that fight was clearly not her fault. I watched that entire clip more than once and I saw Kenya go toward Natalie and before she could get close enough to her, Chris did indeed grab her by the arm, which prompted Brandon to step in to defend her. Now this is just me speaking, but if I come to a party with a friend or two and some dude grabs me inappropriately, I’d expect for my friend(s) to have my back also. Kenya remained seated even after Chris stood up and Natalie was talking slick so that fight ensued because of Natalie and Chris not Kenya. But Apollo was wrong for what he did because he did in fact push Brandon back after Peter had already done so and then proceeded to grab that man by his neck. Nene knew what she was doing by having such a messy party, look at how she targeted Porsha with the mate sexuality question, now was that called for?

  4. Kenya is so over the top. Chris did not hit her. He grabbed her arm to keep her from getting in Natalie’s face. I knew she was going to try to look like the victim after she was the one who got up out her chair to run up on someone else. She’s so predictable.

  5. Had Kenya kept those two a-s implants in that seat, none of this would have ever happened. And Phaedra should have mollywhopped Apollo her damn self after he told everyone he spends $5000 at the strip club. Ninja please.

  6. The rule is if you get up out your seat, you’re trying to throw down. Kenya can’t be mad that Chris restrained her from hitting his wife. Just because she doesn’t have a man she may not understand that.

  7. I actually seen this episode the only episode I have watched the whole season. My question is why are grown people are physically fighting in pajamas? Anyways NeNe was messy but Kenya was wrong don’t jump up unless you are ready for anything and because of Kenya her assistant got his azz whooped.

  8. I putting the blame squarely on Kenya because she got up and got everything started. NeNe has always been messy. I mean always. But her messiness has never led to a fight on the show.

  9. Kenya always swears everyone is jealous of her but she really doesn’t have a lot going on for herself except her looks. Her production company is struggling. She’s a pageant queen who has resorted to doing reality TV with no husband and no kids so she has to settle for imaginary boyfriends and sperm banks. I mean, she’s a gorgeous loser who never met her potential in life. Stop the delusion Kenya. You’re no better than the other hot messes on RHOA.

  10. I actually think Cynthia is prettier than Kenya so I get a little annoyed by Kenya pulling the jealousy card. And Porsha is pretty too but she doesn’t pull the jealousy card either. Anyway, did anyone else peep that Cynthia has had her hand in a lot of the drama too this season?

    1. I agree! Nene brought it up 2 begin with. I don’t think that Kenya got up to fight though. Nene brought it up, therefore nene started it.

  11. All of these people are way too old for this ish. One thing I always liked about RHOA is that they didn’t fight. Now this is the old people’s version of Love & Hip Hop ATL.

  12. It was obvious on this episode that Apollo was really going through some things at this time and now we know what. Crazy.

  13. I don’t see how or why Apollo needed to be apart of this drama. His temper is dangerous though. Did you see the way he reacted when Phaedera and what’s her face try to pull him back?

    Kenya is a dubb.

IDK why the hell am I now just finding Apollo attractive. I

  14. Apollo is dangerous! He pushed Phaedra when she tried to pull him off Brandon! I think their marriage may really be in trouble. I predict them announcing a split soon.

  15. Nene is so quick to say she don’t condone violence, but didn’t she choke Kim out on a bus in a past episode? Also did she not run up at Kim on a past reunion where Lisa Wu had to hold her back? And did she not get all in Dwight’s face on a past ep at an event? Child please. I’m no Kenya fan but Nene is wrong here. Christopher W jumped out of his seat first when his wife started cackling about what was said about them being married or unmarried. He had no business pulling at that woman’s arm like that point blank and that is what started that fight. Had he not put hands on someone

  16. NeNe has too many A– kissers for one thing. Now I am not a huge fan of Kenya but I have to admit that she had every right to react the way she did. Christopher Williams crackhead lookin a– got up too close and Personal. If I was Kenya I probably woulda beat the dog s–t outta his wife for talkin so much sh!t something she didn’t do at the winery. she got a set of balls because her has been common law husband was there. As a woman Kenya did the right thing, rather than jump in a man face she went straight for the wife. He did grab her in a aggressive manner. Apollo looked like a complete a– coming out of no where beating that man like that. NeNe started it ALL!!!!! Why invite Christopher and his wife, along with Chuck and his wife knowing they had bad blood with some ppl within her circle. Now she blaming the producers. I thought u was ur own boss? She ain’t stupid I cant STAND NeNe!!!

  17. No shade, but some of you don’t know how reality tv works. Who do you think told NeNe to throw that party and who to invite? The producers. And did everyone know what was going to go down and what topics would be brought up? Yes! This is a job people. With that being said, Kenya knows the game. She’s also a puppet for the producers and causes drama when asked to just like everyone else. I blame Brandon for this because Chris grabbing Kenya’s arm did not warrant him trying to fight Chris. Chris did not know what Kenya was going to do to his wife when she got up because that was not discussed with production. It was not supposed to happen. But they all knew that NeNe was going to bring up that situation, that is how reality tv works. Everyone knew why they were there. And let’s not forget Kenya also tried to fight Porsha last season after they were both asked by producers to argue on camera. She turns up too much and she’s a wild card. And Brandon also hit Apollo first as well. He wants more time on the show and he’s desperate to get it by all means. This is why he has not filed a lawsuit against Apollo. Video shows he hit him first.

Don’t think anyone on this show is innocent. They are all actors but some take it further than they are asked for more camera time (Kenya and Brandon). Chris had every right to restrain Kenya. My husband has done it when a woman tried to assault me once. How is that wrong? Had Chris punched Kenya or hit her, I’d agree there but restraining someone is NOT assault. Because she doesn’t have a real man she may not have understood that but most men would do the same thing if some crazy and desperate 40 something old woman was charging at their wife just for a reality show.

PS. I used to work on a production staff for a reality show so I know how it works behind the scenes. 🙂

    1. #1 – Brandon did not try to fight christopher UNTIL christopher leaned over peter and pushed him.
#2 – Everyone on these reality shows do not necessarily know the plot of the scenes. Kandi said so herself. NeNe and the producers may have known but everyone else was clearly blind sighted but it
#3 – Christopher had no business getting up he was justing trying to get his last 5 min of fame

P.S – Not all of these reality shows operate the same hun 🙂

      1. First…I used to work for Bravo. In fact, I know Todd. I never worked for RHOA but I know the people behind the scenes. And if Kandi said that (which I doubt she did), she’s not being completely honest. Everyone knew where they were going and what topics would come up. That is how Bravo operates. People get bugs placed in their ears about what to talk about and what storyline to focus on. The only way Kandi would not have known is if she’s on her way out the door and producers want her gone. And to my knowledge, she’s ok for NOW. She and everyone else that was there knew there would be drama. They have to keep ratings in mind. Everyone they bring on the show has a purpose!

Now as I said, Kandi and everyone there knew the deal. I can guarantee that is why Kenya was late. She wanted to add to the drama (she’s great at her job). These people are cheap actors and puppets for the network. That’s one of the reasons I walked away. The things that network puts people through for the sake of ratings is low down period. The producers know all their business and will add people to the scene to make them suffer for the cameras. It’s really messed up but it’s how it is. And NeNe and them will do whatever because they are all struggling for money. But no one thought it would lead to a fight. They never fight. Ever. And that was not discussed before filming and I know that for a fact. But what was discussed? Who would be there and what needed to be discussed. It was agreed and understood by all there that NeNe would bring up Chris and Natalie/Kenya’s situation. Again, that is how it works at Bravo. They like things to be somewhat scripted to make sure they aren’t filming too many dud scenes.

You and everyone else who does not work for TV love to put the blame where it does not belong because you lack knowledge of the business. And that is why these networks keep getting away with their dirty ways and the people on these shows catch all the blame. The producers set all of this up. The only thing I cannot blame them for is the fighting because that should have never happened.

But Brandon is not some saint or hero. He’s hurting for cash and needs a more secure spot on the show. He tried to fight Kordell last season but Kordell would not bite because he has too much to lose. The truth is that is one of the reasons Kordell divorced Porsha. He realized the Bravo people would stop at nothing to get a storyline and he didn’t want to keep risking his image and new career in radio. Let’s not pretend Brandon doesn’t like to pop off for camera time. That’s why the producers keeps agreeing to letting him hang out with Kenya. He brings the drama and they love it.

And if you’re going to say Brandon had a right to fight because Chris pushed him first (which I did not even see), then Apollo had a right to beat up Brandon because Brandon hit him first.

  18. Umm how are any of the women to blame for the MEN fighting? Please put the blame where it belongs people….on the men! No one can make a grown person do anything! Kenya, NeNe and all the other women did not cause the fight. Hold the right people responsible please. The men. Thanks.

    1. OMG thank you! I felt like I was in the twilight zone for a second reading the comments here and everywhere else. How can Kenya or NeNe be at fault here? Neither one of them held guns to any of the men’s heads and forced them to fight! These grown men wanted to fight, so they should take all of the blame!

  19. Yes, the men are the blame, particularly Christopher Williams because he’s the one that put hands on someone first, but why do some people including NeNe thinks Kenya is the one to blame here is beyond me! Kenya was nowhere near Natalie to cause bodily harm as Christopher was standing right there. He grabbed her arm and there was no need for that.

  20. That whole scene was heavily edited. And for that reason alone I’m giving the Bravo producers the side eye. They are trying to make someone look good and someone look bad here. I’ll leave it at that.

  21. Wait a second…didn’t Brandon get all hype and try to fight Kordell last season, but we’re supposed to feel bad for him because he finally got the a-s whooping he’s been begging for? Please. Brandon is not a victim or hero at all.

  22. The one major thing I disagree is that Kenya is a beautiful woman…I would like to respectfully ask ‘In what universe?’ Kenya is always the first to call another woman a ‘transvestite’ or a ‘man’ etc, but it’s clear that she hadn’t really looked in a mirror for a very long time or perhaps she surrounded by a bunch of people constantly telling her how beautiful she is (but laughing behind her back at how gullible she is).

while I’m not a fan of Nene, I was really happy that Kenya was getting the ‘Nene treatment’ for her late arrival. Then to give a lame-a-s excuse that she was picking Brandon up at the airport? Really? And I suppose at the airport you can’t call to let your hostess know that you’re running late? Yeah…no.

Kenya is a smart girl. I believe even before she appeared on the show, she did her research and quickly determined that being the ‘villain’ would get her more screen time and push her quickly to the foreground of the show.

She’s not stupid, like most predators, she went after the weakest (Porsha)revving up the drama from the beginning. She found a bit of success with that so she tried to take on Phaedra mistakenly believing that Phaedra calm, laid-back attitude made her an easy target.

Though she was wrong, however, producers took notice of her with boosted her ego sufficiently for her to make a half-hearted play to take on Cynthia which was just a test to see how Nene would react. Kenya also tried to take on Kandi, however, she quickly realize that Kandi DID NOT PLAY THAT!

One of the reasons why Kenya attacked Natalie at the winery and egged on Kandi and Phaedra when they were in Savannah was to prevent any competition from establishing a toe-hold in or on the show. That it also caused drama was a huge plus.

I’m a firm believer in equality between men and women. As part of my belief, which used to draw cries of outrage among my friends, is the belief that if a woman starts physically attacking a man, then he has the right to stop her…and if she gets punched, then so be it.

Nene asked the question of Kenya and Chris, whether to clarify or to humiliate, Chris stood up to 1) get a drink and 2) to respond to Kenya’s assertion that Chris said he wasn’t married to Natalie.

Yes, Chris insulted her…but she started insulting both him and his wife long before he arrived at the party.

After this season, I don’t believe I will continue to watch RHOA. While I do enjoy Kandi and even Phaedra, I don’t enjoy watching Cynthia ‘stir the pot’ Bailey, Nene ‘loud-mouth’ Leakes or Kenya ‘gruesome drama’ Moore.
