Reality star Khloe Kardashian is going through a divorce with her estranged husband Lamar Odom, but sources close to the Kardashian sister have reportedly confirmed to various news outlets that she has a budding romance occurring with Los Angeles Dodgers player Matt Kemp. He denied anything is going on, but  some folks are skeptical about his denial.

But now sources close to Khloe are telling US Weekly that she has decided to put her romance with Kemp on hold for now because she doesn’t want backlash from the new romance to hurt her image.

A source tells the publication:

“Khloe told Matt it would look bad for her divorce to be dating so soon. So they have to put on the brakes until it’s finalized.

“She wants it to remain clear that Lamar was the cheater.”

The source goes on to say that Matt “understood” Khloe’s concerns, and he’s agreed to step back for a while.

  1. I don’t think they are taking a break at all. Kris probably put this out here because Khloe’s role has always been to be the most liked Kardashian. Kim is supposed to be the most hated, Rob the most pathetic and Kourtney the most down to earth. Everything they do is calculated and phony.

  2. I never understand when these type of stories come out about the Kardashians and their image. First it was Kanye ruining Kim’s image. Now Khloe so call trying to save her image by stepping back from Matt. Their image is already terrible and has been tainted since Kim dropped that sex tape. They will hurt the guys image if anything.

  3. They stay attaching themselves to more successful people to appear to be in the “in crowd”. But, this “Kardashian with a black man” hype is so 2012-2013 TIRED!!
