Yesterday, we told you things got crazy at the party celebrating the opening of Stevie J and Benzino’s new restaurant. After an uninvited Karlie Redd showed up and got into a physical altercation with Benzino’s new girlfriend, several of the cast members reportedly jumped in (Erica Dixon, Momma Dee, Shay Johnson, and Lil Scrappy).
But now producers are reportedly scrambling to defuse the situation.
Sources tell TMZ that an emergency meeting was called to handle the incident, especially since innocent bystanders were injured and bloodied during the brawl which was caught entirely on film:
We’re told … producers held an emergency meeting … to discuss the massive brawl that broke out during Wednesday night’s taping at a restaurant — in which several cast members … and some non-cast members were injured.
Sources tell us … producers are worried about a massive lawsuit from innocent citizens who get caught in the crossfire of a brawl — so they’ve laid down the law … no more filming parties with normies.
Damage control. Now they can’t help but film at places where people in the background are not in the cast. I think Mona is just putting this out to lessen how bad she looks for being the creator of this ratchet show.
This.
This is definitely damage control because that fight was everywhere. Everyone was talking about it. I guess they didn’t anticipate it would have been on every blog and website yesterday. All of this will translate into ratings tho…Mona ain’t mad but she has to at least pretend she is to keep her image up.
LOL whatever. This won’t change anything.
The cast members responsible need to be the ones to pay up.
Well Mona likes this kinda stuff so deal with everything that comes with it.
Right.
LMBO now what will this really stop?
Not a damn thing. LOL.
It always baffles me when Mona and her crew try to pretend they are so shocked and disgusted by the people they hired for the show. They know good and well they only hired them because they were messy. So now it’s an issue and needs to be handled by emergency meetings? Whatever.
Stunts and shows. Stunts and shows.
If people were hurt who weren’t on the cast they need to be sued period.
I agree. I’m sure they didn’t anticipate getting hit my bottles by coming out to that restaurant. But now they should think twice about showing up to events LHHATL people are throwing for obvious reasons. LOL!
Smh. Messy messy messy. The people who were injured should definitely sue. If it was me I would. The only show I like by Mona is soon to be kicked off air completely. Oh well.
They pulled a Basketball Wives stunt & its not looking good.
ratchet is as ratchet does….
