It’s amazing how happy couples look until they actually call it quits.
Despite all the cutesy photos we saw of Detroit Pistons player Andre Drummond and “iCarly”actress Jennette McCurdy, the couple has now ended their short-lived romance that began after Drummond constantly named McCurdy as his #WCW on Instagram.
According to TMZ, the actress slammed her former boo in a recent interview and said she only dated him because he was an athlete. She even claims he’s a terrible kisser:
McCurdy appeared on Pete Holmes’ podcast “You Made It Weird” and spilled her guts about her fling with 20-year-old Drummond.
Jennette didn’t pull punches — admitting she only heard about the guy after he repeatedly chose her as his “Woman Crush Wednesday” on Twitter — and eventually agreed to talk to Drummond because he “seemed like a big deal.”
Jennette says they had some early conversations that “gave [her] pause” but she decided to go out on some dates with him anyway.
McCurdy then describes their first kiss — which went down after a laser tag date — saying, “It just didn’t go great … no sparks. The mouths … the shapes weren’t right.”
Jennette then goes on to say that the athlete actually got on bended knee and asked her to be his girlfriend after gifting her with a necklace, and although she said yes she eventually broke up with him not too long after during a phone call.
As for Andre, he now says the whole experience has taught him a lot. But he tells TMZ that Jennette is slandering him:
“I found [Jennette’s comments] funny. There’s a lot of false info in there, but I’ll be the mature person about the situation and let it die out.”

This young woman lacks class. She shouldn’t have put him on blast like that. When a relationship ends, just move on and be mature about it. She sounds bitter.

So all this young man was to her was a fantasy. This iCarly girl apparently just wanted to bed a black basketball player. Disgusting!

It sounds like she used him. Well it happens. He just needs to not stoop down to her level and keep it grown because he can’t be acting crazy with a NBA contract.
Wow. She really needs to grow up. I don’t know if she’s just bitter about how things turned out but there was no need to throw him under a bus like this.
