Kenya Moore got dragged by her hair by Porsha Williams during the first part of the RHOA reunion, but now the former beauty queen is releasing a statement on the matter just days after it was confirmed that she pressed charges.

The statement is very interesting to say the least because in one sentence she says violence is wrong but then she goes on to say in the next that she could have whooped Porsha if she really wanted to.

She writes:

During the taping of the Reunion Episode for the Real Housewives of Atlanta, I was violently attacked by Porsha Williams. The episode, which aired tonight, Sunday, April 20, 2014, was taped in front of an audience of over 50 people, which included cast, crew, guests and executives, who served as witnesses. I called 911 to report the incident. The Atlanta police conducted an independent investigation, which included viewing the raw footage of the incident. As a result, Porsha Williams was charged with battery. The authorities will decide her fate, not me.

There are many inflammatory statements made by cast members to and about each other particularly during the reunion tapings. Many have made untrue, denigrating, disparaging, and inflammatory statements against me in an attempt to provoke me, but I have never reacted in a violent way. My intellect and my brain are my most powerful weapons—not my fists. If people get so angry that they lose control and admittedly “black out” and resort to violence, those persons must be held responsible for their actions. Being a cast member on a reality show does not absolve people of their rights.

After being repeatedly attacked by an abusive boyfriend at the age of 17, if someone puts their hands on me, I will not just let it go. With that said, I sought self-defense training developed for the Israeli military. I’ve also been trained in weapons. I can take someone down in three moves. It took discipline for me not to respond in kind. As violent responses escalate, they can quickly result in severe injury or even death.

Being the second Black woman to be crowned Miss USA, there are little girls who look up to me. I would never want those girls, my nieces, or my future children to see me fighting anyone. That’s the lesson we should all want to send, especially to young people—that no matter how angry someone makes you feel by what they say to or about you, violence is never an option. #stoptheviolence

  1. I don’t know Kenya Moore…never heard of her before her appearance on RHOA & I DON’T LIKE HER…IF HER ATTITUDE IS LIKE THIS OFF CAMERA I WOULD BEAT THAT B-ASS TOO…& I wouldn’t need cameras….IF U THINK U CAN TALK SHIT WITH NO REPERCUSSIONS… U R TRULY CRAZY!! Just surprised it hasn’t happened sooner….

  2. “With that said, I sought self-defense training developed for the Israeli military. I’ve also been trained in weapons. I can take someone down in three moves.”

She’s lying here. I know someone with this same training and one day a friend walked up on them and tried to grab them from behind in a joking manner and they literally took the friend down in seconds. They didn’t even think about it. It was automatic. Kenya wasn’t even ready and the way she fell when Porsha grabbed her proves she has no training at all. I could tell she is no fighter at all. She needs to stop lying all the time.

  3. So did she not use any of these moves because she was more concerned with hanging on to the bullhorn? Because shawty, that woman was dragged so bad I am actually embarrassed for her.

    1. OMG I CAN’T STOP LAUGHING!!!! I SAW THAT WHILE SHE WAS GETTING HER A-S KICKED SHE STILL HAD THAT HORN.

  4. Is she serious? How can she say she’s trying to be a role model when she actively verbally abuses these other women? And was she being a role model when she talked about how much d-ck she gets? Was she being a role model when she threatened Phaedra while she was pregnant? Was she being a role model when she was the one who tried to fight Porsha last season? Was she being a role model when she joked about bringing a gun to an event with the other women? I mean really, do I need to go on? Lord knows I can. There’s nothing classy about Kenya.

  5. LOL oh whatever Kenya. If you had the training, you would have restrained Porsha in a matter of seconds. The way your eyes bulged as Porsha dragged you across the stage told me everything I need to know about you. You are not a fighter ma’am. I could tell that by your weak attempts to box in earlier episodes. You have no hands ma’am. Not even a decent boxing stance. Nothing. Just hope the next time you get dragged that the next person won’t be nasty enough to throw some punches in too. Because we all know this won’t be the last time if you keep trying to taunt folks.

  6. Does Kenya not understand how ridiculous this statement is making her look? Bad move because I can read all of this and point out numerous of instances of hypocrisy in it. And I’m sure others can as well.

  7. Who is Kenya trying to fool? Her delusional fans? Because fighting with words is something she doesn’t know how to do either. Phaedra bodied her all night last night with her words. Kenya had no good comebacks. And never does. The only thing she fights with is props. She’s weak and if Porsha isn’t cut out for the show, neither is she. She needs to stop calling herself intelligent. There’s nothing intelligent about how she acts on this show. That 40 something year old beauty queen took a bullhorn out to call Porsha a “dumb ho.” Intellect you say? No ma’am.

    1. I can’t stand Phaedra but one thing I will give her is she can read Kenya’s a-s for days. Casper The Friendly Boyfriend was the best one liner all night. Kenya has to bring props because she can’t think on her feet against the other women except Porsha. NeNe scares her, Phaedra outsmarts her and Kandi has already put her in her place. Porsha is the only one left to beat up on, so she does. Cynthia is a non factor and needs to be fired.

      1. Right! Phaedra’s reads are always on point. Kenya can never really clap back at her so she just says oh Phaedra hits below the belt. Kenya is so tired.

  8. Kenya is so full of it. She is the most disingenuous person on RHOA and she needs therapy. Gross.

  9. She’s just trying to save face. She needs her minions to believe that she didn’t take a L but she did. That dragging will now live on in GIFS and YouTube forever. Porsha may be fired but she’s the one person who was able to do the one thing everyone else wanted to do but was too afraid to do. Totally worth it.

  10. So Kenya doesn’t mind her nieces watching her call another woman a hoe through a bullhorn? Girl stop. No one looks up to you boo and we haven’t in over 20 years. You’re a ratchet just like the rest of them. Stop pretending you’re classy. We saw you twerking on married men and asking Phaedra and Apollo for a threesome. The jig is up.

  11. Girl goodbye. You got dragged like a rag doll. No one with any formal training in self defense would have allowed that to even happen. Try again Kenya.

  12. Kenya’s lies are getting so pathetic now. Girl you lost. It happens. You got her fired possibly, so own that dragging you got boo.

  13. So little girls can see her being a bully? Because that is what she is. Some bullies use violence to hurt others, while others use words. She is the latter.

  14. So fighting with words and intellect is using a bullhorn? If she thinks so, Kenya is a dimwit for sure.

  15. In a lot of cases, verbal abuse has longer effects than its physical counterpart. Words stick with you forever. Good or bad. Kenya may not have physically hurt anyone on the show, but she’s the most verbally abusive woman the show has ever seen. And the simple fact that Bravo seems to let this go unpunished while punishing Porsha will be why many viewers will walk away after this season.

  16. This mess will be thrown out of court so fast, simply because Kenya taunted and provoked Porsha on national TV. The ga law on battery clearly states you are guilty if, (1) Intentionally makes physical contact of an insulting or provoking nature with the person of another, or (2) intentionally causes physical harm to another. Opprobrious or abusive language is a defense. O.C.G.A. 16-5-25. If that is the case, Porsha can press charges against her for provoking her with that dang scepter and calling her a dumb ho. FOH Kenya.

  17. Hell anyone catch that Kenya almost hit Cynthia with that scepter? Props should not be allowed. Andy is wrong for not telling Kenya to put ish away. She could have hurt someone herself with all the props, but she wants Porsha fired? Crazy.

  18. I lost my respect for her. If she took her a-s whooping and still talked sh-t I could deal. If she waited then tried to fight later I could respect her. The fact she pressed charges was ruthless. She should have took her a-s whooping in peace

  19. I’ve been watching since season one and I’ve never disliked a cast member until now. Kenya is despicable. If the show keeps on getting worse and nastier, I won’t be watching any longer.

  20. IF YOU HAVE A BOYFRIEND THAT IS A PRINCE AND HAS MILLIONS OF DOLLARS YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE ON REALITY TV, LIVE IN A RENTED HOUSE, LEASE A BENTLEY. KENYA NEEDS TO STOP LYING ABOUT MEN THAT SHE HAS IN HER LIFE.SHE WILL NEVER GET A MAN DOING WHAT SHE IS DOING IN PUBLIC. NOBODY WAS CHECKING FOR KENYA IN THE 90’S AND NOBODY IS CHECKING FOR HER NOW, HER BUTT IS FAKE CAUSE IF YOU SEE PICTURES OF HER YEARS AGO SHE HAD NO A-S, HER EYES ARE FAKE HER BREAST ARE FAKE AND THAT IS NOT ALL HER HAIR. ANDY YOU NEED TO GET KENYA OFF THIS SHOW AND QUICK. ALSO TELL KENYA TO TELL PORSHA SHE IS SORRY FOR CALLING PORSHA NAMES.

  21. This is damage control. Kenya wrote this because she realized that the majority of Americans agree that she provoked Porsha and most people would have done the same thing Porsha did or much worse. You know you’ve messed up if even Barbara Walters says she would have whooped your a-s if you stuck a bullhorn in her face. Kenya has really gotten herself knee deep in sh-t this time. Not even her words can help her now.

  22. I’m from Detroit and Kenya embarrassed my city. You don’t brag about being from the D and then let some airhead drag you on national TV like a blowup doll. As soon as Porsha stood up, Kenya should have squared off. She’s nothing but talk.

  23. Is Kenya trying to lose fans? This was the dumbest statement ever. Take that dragging and move on. She’s acting like a sore loser.
