As we reported recently, music producer The-Dream’s ex girlfriend accused him of attacking her while she was pregnant and he was recently arrested over the allegations.
But now he’s clapping back and he claims that his ex is just trying to set him up to secure her visa.
TMZ reports:
Dream is telling friends, the reason he was charged Wednesday with felony assault and strangulation is all because Lydia Nam was about to be kicked out of the U.S.
Here’s the deal. Her visa is set to expire shortly. Dream says she found out there’s a special visa that allows immigrants to remain in the country if they’re crime victims and they’re needed in the prosecution of the perpetrator.
So, Dream says, that’s why she FALSELY accused him of punching, kicking and strangling her while she was pregnant with their son.
She could be lying. But the truth is he knew she was sh-t when he got with her. He knew full well that she was a known gold digger with huge character flaws and he still knocked her up. So no sympathy over here Dream.
Why so some men act so surprised when they get burned by a gold digger?

It’s possible. I don’t feel sorry for him though. He treated Nivea and Christina like trash. What goes around comes around.
When your girl dresses up as a gold digger for Halloween, you know you got a problem on your hands. But not Dream, he thought it was cute.
Well he chose her. Something about this sounds fishy because didn’t she have the dream baby not too long ago so she should qualify to stay because her child is a citizen. I have no clue what is going on but I do know this is probably karma for leaving 2 wives and kids.
Who knows…regardless, this could just be some gold ole karma. The Dream did some very dirty things to the other women he loved before. I feel sorry for the kids involved.
Both of them need more people. The truth is somewhere in the middle I’m sure.
I didn’t believe that heifer anyway. The Dream is many things but he ain’t no damn woman beater. He has too much to lose. He needs to learn how to treat a good woman right. He had two good ones and didn’t appreciate them.
Hmmmm….this sounds plausible. But why did he sleep with a gold digger raw and get her pregnant anyway and expect that to end well for him? That’s what I would like to know.
These men better start being more selective about who they have kids with.

I don’t know who’s telling the truth but they need to get it together and stop acting like fools because they have a child together. I really wish people would stop bringing children into all their mess.
