    1. I agree. He had the bigger year and it wasn’t based on publicity stunts. At this point, we’re talking about Kanye more so about his personal life than his actual music. With Kendrick it’s all about the music.

    2. Nah, they should have replaced Kanye with Drake. Drake is making some major contributions to music and has been doing so since his first mix tape. Kanye has been falling off for a couple of years now. The other three artists continue to progress while he’s regressing.

    3. What impact Kendrick have on music.? Kanye not have better songs he produces and writes. alicia keys “you don’t know my name” which he also help to write. most of John legend 1st album. lots of Jay z songs and the list goes on
Kendrick hasn’t done anything yet. I could see Drake on the cover, because he has way more impact than Kendrick in my personal opinion i thin Kendrick is overrated.

  1. I like it. I’m annoyed with people saying they are tired of Rih, Bey, Jay and Ye getting all the shine they do and all that mess but it’s not their job to sit down and let the next person shine. You either grind hard and make it happen for yourself or you don’t eat. They aren’t obligated to shine less to help the next person shine more. All four of them worked hard to get where they are today. Respect it and match their work ethic and you can get all the magazine covers too.

  2. Assuming they’re referring to Kanye’s career as a whole and not anything specific to this year (or last year for that matter), I agree with their picks. I’m one of Kendrick’s biggest fans, and while I think that one day he’ll definitely find his place on the cover for this, now isn’t the time. He’s still fairly new to the game (beyond mixtapes) and has more work to do before being considered a pioneer or game changer. On another note tho, RocNation is something like a powerhouse. Jay made it, two of his artists, AND his wife? That’s what’s up.

  3. I have no hate or shade to throw to any of them for landing the covers. Regardless of how you may feel about the artist today or as an individual, it would be a lie to say that they have not had an impact on the entertainment field in some way. I honestly have no qualms about the artists chosen.

    1. The Kanye now, I could somewhat agree with this statement. Buuuuut, the College Droupout-Late Registration-Graduation Ye? Straight poet. Even in his days of spitting on Def Poetry Jam.
