Kanye West is back to making headlines for his rants during shows and while some are still trying to figure out if he is currently having a legitimate feud with Jay Z for his wedding no-show, Kanye was sure to address more topics during his recent performance at Bonnaroo.

Interestingly enough, the rapper says the media makes him look crazy:

“How many of y’all don’t give a f—k about what the press say? It’s 2014. College Dropout came out 2004. I want y’all to know, every time I go to the studio, every time I do an interview, every time I make a motherf—kin’ t-shirt, the thing I do, I give it everything I got. And when I talk that sh-t, it’s so that you can talk that sh-t. If you a fan of me, you a fan of your motherf—kin’ self. You can do something that’ll change the world. Look at how they try to make me look. They try to make me look crazy. And the people that write that? I don’t see them performing for 90,000 motherf—kers … I know you seen movies and sh-t. Jimi Hendrix. John Lennon. Jim Morrison. I know y’all seen movies and sh-t. But y’all livin’ a movie right motherf—king now. Because I AM THE NUMBER ONE MOTHERF—KING ROCK STAR ON THE PLANET.”

  1. I loved loved loved me some Kanye. I’m from the chi and I always supported him. Now I can’t stand to hear him talk. He’s about money and always talking about what he’s done. When he stopped talking for that year it was cool cause he started focusing more on his music. Stop talking Kanye and be about your craft.

  2. Not true. Kanye has changed a lot ever since his mom passed. And honestly he became everything he was against on his first album. It’s sad but it is what it is. I don’t think he will ever go back to the Kanye we all knew and loved.

  3. If he hated the media so much, he wouldn’t have married an attention whore. So he can miss me with this staged rant. Everything about him is so fake now, just like his wife.

  4. I swear Kanye is just one big troll. He will say say anything to look controversial and get a rise out of people. He has changed for the worst.

  5. Nah I’m pretty sure he does such an amazing job looking cuckoo that the media doesn’t have to do a damn thing. LOL.

  6. Weird thing is, Kanye isn’t crazy… it’s just his delivery of the messages he tries to get across. It’s no secret that he hasn’t been the same since his mom passed, but he’s right when he talks about his passion and how much he puts into his work; whether it’s received well by fans or not. I just wish he’d do less interviews. I also wish he’d make less music, because although he’ll slip up on a gem every now and then, lyrically, he does not compare to who he was prior to 2008. I’m all for evolution, growth, and trying new things. But when you once stood for something and it ultimately looks like you’ve fallen for anything??? Meh. It’s time to hang it up. Yeah he’s performing for 90,000 people but I’m willing to bet that’s based off the strength of his fan base prior to the artist he’s become.

  7. I feel sorry for this guy he really needs help. Kim better not ever cross him cause he is one very angry man.

  8. Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t think Kanye changed anymore. I think he’s just showing us who he’s always been…a superficial, arrogant and materialistic douche bag whose main priority in life is to sit at the popular kids table. He fronted a lot while his mom was alive. Kim is the same way. They want acceptance so bad, they’ll do anything to get it. It’s pathetic Kim’s highest moment in her life was covering Vogue. To most, magazine covers are minor details in a lustrous career but to her, it’s her highest achievement.

  9. I think he’d be ok if he just chilled out with the rants and temper tantrums about superficial things.
