“Real Housewives of Atlanta” closed season six with a bang considering the ratings were through the roof, and the reunion was a controversial one thanks to the physical altercation that went down between Porsha Williams and Kenya Moore.
Weeks ago it was speculated a couple of the ladies would be fired, but it was later confirmed by NeNe Leakes that all of the ladies were invited back for the upcoming season.
As always, there are rumors circulating suggesting there will be some new housewives to join the cast, and MTO claimed the newbies are Claudia Jordan and “House of Payne” star Demetria McKinney.
Well that’s news to them. Both Claudia and Demetria denied joining RHOA on their Twitter accounts:
Interestingly enough, Atlanta blogger Straight from the A was informed that Claudia and Demetria have indeed been filming but Bravo hasn’t given them contracts to become full time as of yet. STFA writes:
Demetria and Claudia have both been running around town telling people that they are the ‘new’ Atlanta housewives and Demetria has even revealed to friends that her ‘sponsor’ Roger Bobb has filmed a few scenes with her and they even ‘kissed on camera’… but my sources reveal that neither of them have been offered contracts yet.
‘Both women are single (i.e. unmarried) which isn’t an issue considering Kenya Moore is also considered a ‘housewife’ by Bravo’s standards.
That being said… YES it’s true that the two ladies have been mixing and mingling with the existing RHOA cast but for now that’s all it is. Free work for free exposure.
They don’t need new housewives. The ones they have are entertaining enough.
I actually agree. I may not like all of them, but they don’t need anyone else and the ratings prove that. The chemistry works. But I would like to see them squash some of their petty beefs though.
Cosign. I don’t want any newbies next season. Let these ladies finish off where they left off and then fire some people and bring in some newbies next season.

Agreed! Look what new housewives did to RHONJ? They’re bringing Jacqueline back to boost the ratings. Nope, we don’t need no help Bravo…one Marlo is enough!

Yeah they are doing too much. Leave the cast alone and let the ratings speak for itself.
Not judging.Well I am a little surprised that everyone will come back, Phaedra, Kandi and Todd are a good reason to watch but still not good enough,I can’t see much more to look forward to,so I guess I will skip another season, and just try to catch the reunions.
Claudia though? That’s so random. Demetria maybe. IDK. Maybe they shouldn’t hold peaches but they can come in and cause a little drama.
I don’t want anyone new though. The cast right now is perfect. But if they bring Claudia on board, I promise you she will clash with Kenya. They have similar personalities.
Uh oh. Two more pretty women for Kenya and NeNe to hate on.
If they haven’t gotten contracts yet they probably won’t.
Claudia and Demetria sound like insurance policies for RHOA in case somebody quits or gets fired. RHOA ain’t slick they want these two for a reason we will soon found out why.

Hmmm…well Kenya does need some people to film with. I think they may keep Demetria and Claudia as extras just so Kenya will have people to film with since NeNe, Porsha and Phaedra are not options anymore.
Bravo is bringing them around to cause some drama. That we can be sure of.
Of course they are. I have a feeling it’s going to be a big mess too. But I’m here for it.
