R&B singer K Michelle has been talking lots about her former romance with British actor Idris Elba, and now she reveals that as a whole, she just feels black women get treated better by men in the UK.
She tells a EURWEB source:
“I’m [going] to get married to a nice white man. I really think they’re attractive.
“I think men take black women for granted in America. I loved the ‘mannerisms’ of the British and how they treat women. In the UK they absolutely adore black women. I love it, they still believe in opening doors, they still go on dates, they’re very protective of women … My father was around and my grand daddy was around and that’s what I’m used to. So when I went over to the UK they just went crazy and I said oh yeah, I am Blue Ivy over here, baby.”
I don’t think black women get treated better in the UK. I heard it’s actually worse and the black men over there are really into white women.
I CAN say that when I went to LONDON- Guys seemed FASCINATED with my accent. Calling others over and asking me to speak – this went on and on. I kept saying I don’t have an accent”! Which the men thought was the most cutest thing EVER! the women not so much… I’m from OHIO but the Midwest accent seemed VERY special to them. This was in broad day light in the shops, in the airport; they weren’t drunk! Honestly, they couldn’t get enough of it.
I hope she was joking.
Eh, I’ll just chalk this up to K. being K. Nothing more.
So since she has terrible taste in men, now she wants to assume white men are better. Smh. She has a lot to learn.
K is so clueless you get treated how you carry yourself simple as that and she doesn’t carry herself well enough for a man to respect her. A white man won’t treat her any better than a black man I’m just keeping it real. She needs to look in the mirror and face the real problem why men won’t take her seriously.
Well said. She still doesn’t see that she’s got some blame for her failure in relationships.

Lol, when is K Michelle going to realize that she’s probably the problem. Even if she picking men that are no good that’s on her. And a marriage is hard work, there will be times when a man won’t be like he was in the courting period. And vice versa. Ugh

I don’t know any nice white men that would be interested in ratchet K Michelle. They run from women like her. You can’t take her anywhere. I can’t believe she said that, stick to athletes please.
