Hip Hop mogul Diddy always gets praised for his business sense, even though some feel most of his wealth is a result of dogging out former Bad Boy Records artists.

No stranger to the Forbes list, the mogul felt quite comfortable posting a meme about working nine to five, and it offended his fans so much so he deleted it quickly:

  1. I follow Diddy. He always posts stuff like this to encourage people to hustle and go after their dreams. No one should be offended. It’s the truth anyway.

    1. You’re right but maybe he would have been better off not including Leonardo DiCaprio laughing. By doing so, it just seems like he’s making fun of people who work jobs.

  2. I can’t stand this a-shole but there’s some truth to what he said. It’s hard as hell to get rich when you’re working for someone else. But it’s not impossible either. There’s a man who saved most of the money he made working at a fast food joint and now he’s a millionaire. I can’t think of his name but he wrote a book.

  3. He works long hours and is telling the truth. You have to be on your grind to get rich. 9-5 is not going to cut it. For the ones who are sensitive, change your pad and stop it already with the sensitivity. Be like Nike and just do it.

    1. I don’t agree with that. You may not be stinking rich but you can make 6 figures working a nine to five. My father does. Well he works an 8-4:30 lol. I wasn’t a offended by the meme at all. But I can see why people would get upset. The working man is what made Diddy rich, buying his records and his artist’s records. Just an observation.

  4. I agree with what the meme says but it was also condescending. Especially since it’s us 9 to 5 people who made him rich.

  5. I think people were mad because we all know Diddy did a lot of dirty ish to get where he is today. So he has some nerve trying to clown people with legitimate careers. Right message, wrong messenger.

  6. See this is why I think black celebs should not be on social media or speak on issues. They will always get dragged and criticized by their own people. Just stay quiet and make your money. People will be mad no matter what you do.

  7. So we have to be politically correct about everything? I don’t think anything is wrong with the meme. Now what Amber Rose wrote on her IG a few days ago was disrespectful. She flat out told people to seethe in their cubicle sbecause Beyonce liked her twerking video. LOL.

  8. My issue is that there are a lot of impressionable youth on IG that can misinterpret that meme and possibly view it as saying an honest living will get you no where.
