Months ago it was revealed that Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey were separated and would divorce as soon as the former couple could agree on the terms, and now Nick has officially pulled the plug on the marriage.
TMZ writes:
Nick Cannon beat Mariah Carey to the courthouse … we’ve learned he has quietly filed for divorce.
The timing is interesting. We found out Nick filed papers December 12. The date is relevant because on December 2, Mariah showed up 3 hours late to tape a segment for the NBC tree-lighting special.
At the time we posted a story … Mariah was on the phone with her lawyers going over the terms of her property settlement. That syncs up with Nick filing papers a week later, after they hashed out a deal.
Mariah isn’t letting the split keep her from stacking up her money though. The singer confirmed yesterday that she will complete her first multimillion dollar Vegas residency this year.
In related divorce news, Usher’s ex-wife Tameka Raymond isn’t sweating his engagement to longtime boo and manager Grace Miguel. In fact, she assures TMZ that’s she’s not upset at all:
Usher’s ex-wife Tameka Foster has a short memory … she’s so happy for Usher and Grace Miguel she’d not only love for her kids to be at his wedding … they can be in it.
“Nasty” is a gross understatement in characterizing the war between Usher and Tameka over their two boys. Yet now we’re told she’s more than fine if their kids see him swap vows with the woman she claims hooked up with him while their youngest was only 3-months.
Tameka needs more people.

Tameka won’t even give up his last name and we’re supposed to believe she’s happy about this? Bullsh-t. Anyway, it got to a certain point that I thought Nick and Mariah would actually last. Crazy.
If true, good for Tameka. Hopefully Nick and Mariah won’t have a messy divorce.
I wonder if we will ever get the real tea on what happened with Nick and Mariah.
So there will be two Mrs. Raymonds? LOL.

If Tameka is happy for him then she needs to give him his last name back.
