R&B singer Ciara has been itching to make new music ever since her engagement to Future went downhill as a result of his alleged cheating, and she claims her upcoming studio album was inspired by the new developments in her personal life.
Motherhood has also inspired her to get a little more raw and personal with her music, so it’s no surprise she recently dropped “I Bet” a week ago, a track which allegedly addressed her split from Future.
Ciara posted videos of her performing the track live and completely acoustic to Instagram:

I didn’t even waste my time listening. Honestly this is why she’s been flopping for the last few years. She keeps trying to become a serious singer when her a-s needs to be dancing in every single music video. She can’t sing. Never could but she can dance her a-s off and that’s the only thing we want from her. Dance damn it.
I completely agree with this. Ciara had a successful formula that worked for her. She was the mini Janet. Catchy songs and great dancing. Then she started trying to become another Beyonce and she’s been flopping ever since. You have to stick with what works. The day she said she no longer wanted to work with Jazzy and she was over the Crunk & B stuff I knew it was over for her.
I really be trying to pull for Ciara I really do but it’s time for her to give up her music career. Girl go do modeling she is a beautiful girl do fashion do something other than music. I loved Ciara in middle and high school and them first 2 albums were filled with hits but it’s time to move on to something else.
Just let me know when she puts out another club banger and kills another music video. I’m not here for her trying to sing ballads.

I never thought she could sing. But she’s pretty and she’s a great performer. I think she should pick songs that showcase her dancing talents more.

I like Ciara but I do agree that she needs to go back to her dancing roots more this album. It’s what made people love her in the first place. She is one of the best dancers in the game right now.
*sigh* I want the best for her. I really do. But this ain’t it man. Smh
