Keyshia Cole had a rather secretive romance with Birdman during her separation from Daniel Gibson, and their relationship led to the R&B singer assaulting a woman at his condo.
Now that she’s reportedly trying to work things out with Daniel, he wants to make it known he has no problems with Keyshia’s former relationship with Birdman.
He tells Sister 2 Sister Magazine:
“At the end of the day she’s my friend …we been through a lot. …We were separated, I can’t have any control over who or what she does outside of me. We both had our own thing going on. At the end of the day I always want what’s best for her and my son.”

Seeing as most know Birdman is dating Young Thug, I can understand why he didn’t take it seriously. Now if only Keyshia would have had enough sense not to take Birdman seriously.
