The other day it was reported that Ludacris’ baby mama Tamika Fuller was denied a new trial in the custody case because she allegedly sent multiple blogs photos of her and Ludacris’ daughter, which is a court order violation.

Now Tamika has released a statement exclusively to Madame Noire on the matter:

Sadly, on April 9th the judge denied my motion for a new trial. Every day that passes when I don’t have my daughter feels like eternity. After being discouraged with the court system, I decided to share a personal account of my situation on Madame Noire, it was never meant as a media blitz but rather my side of the story in protest of my daughter being taken away when I felt powerless against her father’s machine. My side had not been shared up until this point and rumors that I was a bad mother or receiving 7k/month child support or asking for 15k were distressing me, none of which are factual. I’m back to working full time, but even that isn’t enough to cover the many expenses that come with this fight. I was hesitant to set up a Gofundme page but since my story ran I’ve received overwhelmingly supportive feedback from women and mothers across the country who have offered assistance and want to help with launching my organization. I plan to use donation money to start setting up my non-profit “No Mother Left Behind” with a mission to educate, enrich, enlighten and empower low income mothers and also to help bring my own daughter back. I’ve read and appreciate all the messages, prayers and similar stories that I’ve received. You have all made me feel less alone. We are all in this together. Thank you.

  1. This whole situation is such a big mess. But she hurt herself by violating that court order. She’s making too many rookie mistakes.

  2. I feel sorry for her but I ain’t donating a dime to her. Even though Ludacris is full of sh-t and dead wrong she should have been prepared for this type of fight. F-ck trying to get your side of the story out she should have been coming up with strategies to get her baby back. She already had stripes against her no money, Georgia court system come on now baby girl should have been smarter.

  3. These ladies are going to have to start being honest with themselves when they say they want an athlete or to bore the child of one. It’s not as great as one would think. They all must learn the hard way though.

  4. Well damnit I’m going to start a Go Fund Me page too!!! I went to college and need help paying for my degrees. The hell.

  5. I feel bad for her because that baby was with her for an entire year and he wasn’t around and to have to give that up is hard, but I especially feel bad for that baby tho because her mom was all she knew for the first year of her life and now she’s being raised by strangers to her. Tamika shoulda just kept her mouth shut until her legal battles were completely done and she had her daughter back or some better custody arrangement. A custody battle is extremely expensive and can amount to debt levels you hadn’t expected especially if you battling a b*tch who only wants to hurt you because his ego is bruised. That’s alot to accept but hopefully it works out as time goes on.

  6. This is what I was saying since the first story was released. She should have had a full time job, a 2 bedroom house or apartment at least and a vehicle. Of course food and clothes for her child and she would have won the case. She was being greedy and thought about the dollar and failed to be in good standing/light and went to court like I’m the baby mama and he needs to pay me childsupport.
