With Bravo confirming that NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak will indeed collaborate and film a spinoff, many took the news to mean that the last original Atlanta housewife could be preparing to walk away from “Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
Interestingly enough, while NeNe loathes how much the show has changed, she may not be ready to leave the hit show just yet.
She tweeted the following recently:
Good. I don’t want her to leave.
Me either but if she did, I would understand.
Of course she’s not leaving. RHOA is a guaranteed check for her. And I may be Team Twirl, but I’m no fool. Her and Kenya are the most entertaining people on there. That is why both of them get such strong reactions from people. They are made for this.
Damn sometimes you surprise the hell out of me.
I wish she would just quit. She says she is quitting every season but the one season she finally gets dragged by everybody (Kenya, Claudia, Kandi and Cynthia )she doesn’t want to leave. I guess she doesn’t want to exit on such a pathetic note. Girl bye. #hasbeen

I’m not sure how Nene is a has been when she’s been the top chick on RHOA since season one, had two shows on two major networks, and just wrapped up on Broadway. I’m sleep.
I’m glad she won’t be run off the show.
NeNe is not going anywhere, her so called acting career has stalled at the typical “ratchet character” is not being offered at the moment and she is attentioned starved. Her ego needs RHOA!
