The other day Russell Wilson and Ciara were spotted hanging together at a game, and later AOL confirmed the athlete had signed up the singer to be his date for the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
It appears Russell or Ciara may have had a change of heart and he will take a family member as a date instead.
Page Six writes:
Wilson was linked to Ciara after they were spotted at a Seattle Mariners game together last week.
The pair were also listed together on AOL’s list to attend the WHCD this weekend. But Wilson clarified on Facebook he’s taking his grandmother.
“Can’t wait to dance with my beautiful date at the WHCD this weekend! #shesgotmoves #loveugrandma,” he posted.
We still think these two are dating, but perhaps they aren’t ready to go public just yet.
Oh here we go. She’s about to be with another man who won’t claim her in public. Smdh.
50 Cent was the only person who didn’t claim her if I’m not mistaken. And the only woman he’s ever really claimed like that is Chelsea Handler.

Ciara and Russell are dating and have been for a good minute now. She pulled out because she had to. She’s been busy prepping for her album’s release.
I don’t have a problem with Ciara, but why do you follow us around on every post to bring up Rihanna in things she has nothing to do with? I know y’all are nervous she’s going to shut the game down when she drops that album, but find something better to do with your time. Rihanna is single and not ashamed of it. Not everyone lets society tell them what they can or can’t do with their life. I think you envy her because she has more courage to do what she wants than you do. That’s a personal problem.

I really don’t know what to make of this. It may not mean anything but scheduling conflicts but it’s kind of weird to me. I guess time will tell with them.
I’m confused. But I don’t care enough to try to figure this out. If they are together, they will eventually have to admit it and be seen together.
They want to keep it quiet for now. I actually think it’s the smart thing to do for both of them.
I agree, it’s not like she’s coming out to publicly claim him and he’s denying it. I think she’s trying to go slow learning from past relationships and keeping it on the low for awhile until they feel more comfortable and the relationship grows.

Only time will tell. But I don’t think this means he’s not trying to claim her. Maybe they aren’t serious just yet and still getting to know each other. And if that’s the case, it is best he doesn’t bring her to the white house. That’s a serious function and you should bring someone you’re sure about.
