“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Cynthia Bailey gets a lot of flak for her marriage to Peter Thomas because many have expressed on social media that they believe he spends up all her money on questionable business ventures.

But Cynthia wants folks to know that’s not really the case.

She tells Straight From The A:

“Peter can’t take anything from me because first of all… we’re married. My money is his money and his money is my money. So Peter can’t take nothing from me.

“For those of you who do not know, let me be clear… I wasn’t born when I met Peter, I had a whole life in New York city where I’ve had nothing but success and money and things and other relationships and that was never an issue. So why would I move to Atlanta and be a part of this and all of a sudden, I’m just going to give my money away?

“C’mon now… I’ve got a kid. Like, that doesn’t even make sense.”

  1. Honey, you could’ve been a success your whole life and meet up on a man who’ll take all that sh-t from you…c’mon now!

  2. Before Cynthia, Peter was getting dues left and right for bad business deals. He didn’t really have a pot to piss in when they met. He’d have no money if it wasn’t for her.

    1. I’ll never forget about them hiding that marriage certificate from her. They really saw through Peter from the start.

  3. So why is it always an issue between them on the show like it was last season when Peter went behind her back and rented a space for the a coffee shop or whatever.

  4. Cynthia is literally one of the silliest women ever. She has no backbone whatsoever, and she’s so desperate to keep Peter around that she accepts his carelessness with their finances.

  5. Yeah, he’s probably not spending ALL of her money; probably just MOST of it. It’s a shame, I really liked and respected Cynthia before she came on RHOA and when she first appeared. What in the hell happened to her?
