Rappers Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj sparked engagement rumors when Nicki took to Instagram weeks ago to post a photo of a very flashy ring Meek gifted her, but now Meek claims they aren’t engaged.
US Weekly writes:
Meek Mill may be right by Nicki Minaj’s side, but despite widespread rumors, the two stars are not engaged. Us Weekly got an exclusive first look at Meek Mill’s new cover story interview with The Fader, where he sets the record straight once and for all about potential wedding bells in the couple’s future.
With Minaj joining him for much of the interview, Mill, 28, told the mag in its first summer music issue that the stunning 15-carat diamond ring that he gave the star is simply not an engagement ring.
“It’s definitely real,” the “Amen” performer told The Fader’s contributing writer Will Stephenson about his relationship with Minaj, 32. “But it ain’t really time to get married yet. We’re still learning each other, feeling each other out.”

I actually like them together now. Nicki seems really happy with him. It’s like she’s happy to have someone she doesn’t have to support anymore. Good for her.
