“Real Housewives of Atlanta” stars Cynthia Bailey and Peter Thomas are making headlines thanks to a video of Peter flirting with some unidentified woman at a nightclub recently going viral, but Cynthia told US Weekly that they are working through the issue and a divorce is out of the question.
Interestingly enough, the timing of the scandal has some thinking it’s something the couple manufactured to make sure Cynthia holds on to her peach and to ensure their storyline next season will be interesting.

With RHOA’s eighth season quickly approaching and no official word on which housewives will be staying or leaving, some fans are accusing Thomas and Bailey of faking the cheating scandal in order to make their storyline more dramatic for the show. Viewers of the video have noted that the camerawoman was extremely close to Thomas and should have been easily spotted by him. And Bailey’s comments in a radio interview following the video’s release are adding to the suspicion among fans.
Others have added that Bailey’s quickness to make her Instagram account private on Tuesday afternoon while going on to talk publicly about the scandal in the radio interview on Wednesday doesn’t completely add up. And with recent reports that Bailey has been asked to return for the show’s upcoming season, fans of the show are claiming that the video may be the couple’s attempt to ensure Bailey remains a full-time cast member on the show and isn’t bumped to a guest role.
*giggles* People don’t need to give Peter and Cynthia too much credit. They aren’t faking this. Peter has a long track record of cheating with women he meets at his clubs. He is also a huge flirt. I don’t see why this video is hard to believe.
I don’t think this is fake. Peter has done this before.
Anything is possible but given Peter’s past behavior, I seriously doubt it.

I mean it would make a lot of sense. Peter didn’t seem to mind being recorded and that was odd to me.
They aren’t that clever.
Peter looked tipsy to me in the video. That person was able to videotape him closely because he was too tipsy to even see what she was doing. But it definitely wasn’t staged.
Hmm this is very plausible. This would make them less boring and with new producers, they may feel the need to take things to the next level. They aren’t safe anymore since Carlos is gone.
