The other day Nicki Minaj’s ex-boyfriend Safaree Samuels made headlines because a new track of his leaked onto the internet, and the lyrics were all about his breakup with the famous rapper.
In the song, Safaree claimed he felt like Nicki let her success and ability to make more money than him caused her to be a bit selfish towards him, and now Nicki is clapping back.
Gossip Cop writes:
“Lesson: don’t cheat on a loyal woman. God will punish you,” wrote Minaj in a now-deleted post, adding, “When he does, tell people the truth. The truth may set u free. Love. Always.” In other tweets that were also later removed from her account, Minaj told her ex, “Enough with the pity party,” and “I’m happy today not b/c of [current boyfriend Meek Mill]. But b/c I know I’m a good person. Don’t hate u. will always love u. I forgive u. It’s time to move on.”
Minaj continued her Twitter rant with tweets that still remain on her page. In one post she wrote, “God gave me a good heart. I always let ppl get over on me way too long. But that’s why I’m blessed. I’ll always b blessed. May God keep u.” She also commented on the long romance she shared with Samuels, noting, “Making a 12 yr relationship work at such a young age? We’re BOTH the real MVP. Things got rocky at the end but we had a GREAT run. #B4Ujudge.”
Nicki also told her followers that she is in love with Meek Mill. Safaree hasn’t responded to the tweets as of yet.
