Drake and Serena Williams are currently dating, and after Serena was defeated at the US Open, many took to social media to blame the rapper for her loss since he was in attendance.
Now Drake is being accused of causing some drama at Serena’s recent fashion show during New York Fashion Week.
Page Six writes:
Sitting front-row with Anna Wintour, Gigi Hadid and Lily Aldridge at Williams’ show Tuesday, Drake seemed more concerned with the show’s soundtrack, which used his songs, including “Back to Back,” which played during the finale.
Following the show, Drake first went backstage to congratulate Williams, where he was seen kissing her hand. Then, “All of a sudden he came busting out from the backstage into the runway area and approached the DJ,” says a spy. “There was an animated discussion and Drake was upset,” the witness continued. ”The DJ kept raising his arms as if to say, ‘It wasn’t my fault.’”
We hear Drake — who was blamed by angry tennis fans for distracting Williams, causing her to lose her semifinal to Roberta Vinci and missing out on Grand Slam history — was upset because the wrong music mix was played during the show. Sources said the version of his “Back to Back” was supposed to be a clean edit, but the cut mistakenly played was packed with curse words and went out live to HSN viewers. Even worse, “They didn’t want Anna Wintour to be horrified sitting there with curse words playing,” said a spy.
Hmm I understand why he felt some type of way but he should have handled it better. Discretion is important.
Agreed. When you’re famous, you have to always understand people are watching everything you do.
Well this means he may really care about her if he was worried the music would hurt her chances with Anna.
It’s understandable why he would be upset but he should h ave calmly spoken to the DJ so the media wouldn’t catch on to what happened.
Well maybe her mind was elsewhere when she lost the game…..on Drake or them w/e that’s not his fault. She is a grown woman and if he’s keeping her happy and she ends up messing up that’s her fault LOL…..on to the music part….the DJ fckd up, or maybe they should’ve gotten a better DJ since he wasn’t smart enough to use discretion at an uppity fashion show w/ Anna Wintour in attendance

You right…..I dnt understand how this walk a$$ old lady who wears the same dusty a$$ bob cut wig and nothing but white and black color combos could ever run some fashion shyt and make people feel some type of way. Who knows she probably says more horrible shyt out of her mouth then what the DJ was playing. The fashion world is full of non-saints….they actin like she God
The DJ said he played what he was given.
Drake needs to get it together. There’s a time and place for everything. He could have just contacted the DJ or the company he works for the next day. You don’t attend an event with journalists sitting everywhere and try to check someone without someone noticing it and blogging about it.
The DJ messed up but Drake should have handled that better.

Who the hell does he think he is? The DJ made a mistake and the person over the music is probably the real culprit if he wasn’t aware an edited version was supposed to be played. People do the most to please Anna and she’s not even good at her job! Vogue sucks!
