Janet Jackson and Tamar Braxton both released new albums earlier this month, and Janet’s final numbers for first week sales were strong considered she sold over 100,000 copies.

Tamar wasn’t so lucky and the R&B singer sold 38,000 copies of “Calling All Lovers.”

The numbers are disappointing considering she sold 114,000 in the first week with “Love & War,” but Tamar wants her fans to understand she’s not worried at all.

  1. Tamar can pretend to be unbothered all she wants. We know the truth. This is the same woman who just called out a US Weekly writer for calling he album boring. I disagree of course but Tamar needs to be more professional.

  2. Tamar’s album failed because if was not good. The thing is that yes she can sing but she is no superstar and she thinks she is. Tamar is a one hit wonder and she needs to except that. There are a lot of great singers out there that are not in the industry. Just go to any black Mega Church you will see them. We don’t even know the real Tamar cause all her video’s are Beyoncé wannabees, she talks like the average gay person, she has had a lot of work done on her face, So maybe if she will show us who she is maybe her luck would be a little better in this industry. Tamar said she has over a million followers but only 38k got her album.

  3. TAMAR IS VERY WORRIED AND CARES ABOUT EVERYTHING PEOPLE SAY. THAT’S WHY SHE RESPONDS AND WRITES ALL OF THESE COMMENTS.

SHE HAS TO BECOME HUMBLE NOW BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE SEEING THROUGH HER FAKE BULLSH-T!

  4. I opened this just a lil bit cause I’m at work and sneaking on here and for a split sec she looked like a Muppet…guess K.Michelle isn’t that far off LOL

  5. 38,000 copies is really bad though. I think Tamar needs to reconsider this whole music thing. After a while, flop albums only put you in debt with the record label. That’s not a game she wants to play.
