Rapper Missy Elliott is officially making her return to the music scene, and with her new single and video “WTF,” it’s clear the innovator still has plenty left to contribute to the industry.
Interestingly enough, while many have taken to social media to praise her new song, some are slamming her because they feel she used a recent interview with Billboard to shade Nicki Minaj.

It was shade but people need to remember Missy is very close to Lil Kim. Nicki shouldn’t take this too seriously.

I think Missy is more annoyed at Nicki being the only female rapper getting any love than actually being annoyed with Nicki. Queen Latifah said something similar. They don’t have a problem with Nicki but they come from a time where there was multiple women in Hip Hop doing well.
